Exams

I am halfway through atm and the 2 exams i've done have varied significantly. the first one didn't want us to write THAT much didn't provide that many lines and people left the exam early. yesterday's one was just insane 9 long responses. wow i didn't know they were so keen to mark so much hahahahaha not only that the questions didn't seem to warrant 15 marks...previously they were only awarded 3 marks!

I hope tomorrow's exam goes a lot smoother! starting with biochem -->mol bio-->microbio then i'll learn some drugs from cheeesman before wrapping it all up with past papers! i hope i can get it all done!!!!

Day before 2062

So the first couple of days of swotvac i did 2022 2052 and did my 2030 question.

Then for the last 3 days i'ce been learning 2062 and geez this stuff is hard i don't think i can remember it all which is a real bummer cos i probably need to hahahahaahha ;p

the lecture notes are so boring so so so boring and the student presentations are too long!

I hope the exam isn't too insane. like last sem would be fiiiine :D

swotvac!

Its here :D yay I am going to hardcore from now! :D so on sunday we went to new farm for the final time aunty susan's father's house as a last celebration party. it was good and i tried some new ranges of domino's pizza and watched sneakers whjich si a 1992 movie it was surprisingly quite good.

I did my washing today which was about 2 weeks worth. i will finish the 2022 ian meyer's section before going on to ten cate and oral cells and tissues. I have to go to uni one day and return the immunology textbook.

last days of learning before revsiion

tomorrow is the last day of learning tbh this week has a been a bit iffy hahahahhahahaha from preclinic - debridement to exam to more preclinic to a lecutre to another exam great hey? farrrr too much i will remember it all though i must!

in other news got a lot fo exams back failed one...but it looks like a lot of people did wow. passed the rest, 4 assessments back on the same day,. that's tough!

played tetris with jennifer.......she finished in 14 seconds that is kinda ridiculous lol sprint. she had 4 lines i had 32 victor had 40 hahahahahaha

immunology

i ahve spent a few days on immunology going through the textbook. so much information whcih i don't need to know hahahahahaha

anyway enough of it for me for now i'm gonna do some mol bio cos its worth more :P spend the rest of the day on it :D

Stressed

Hagven't been stressed in a while. I think its a combination of things.

1. tuesday evenings are always bad so tired cos 2 long day

2. not enough sleep probably

3. not understanding mol bio gah!

4. how much study elaine is doing hahahahaha that shouldn't put me off but it does because she says things like omg so hard etc

5. i've sort of begun to lose self confidence. used to be like yeah i should be find get 50% no probs now its like CAN I? CAN I GET IT?

i guess the solution is get more sleep. figure out an effective study plan then stick to it.

vacuum and washing

that is what i did today found a who.le bunch of ants eugh!

also found all my notes for 52 and realised i have to print a bunch out cos they were probably posted after the actual lecture so i hadnm't printed them out ;p i do have handwritten notes though.

shall do half of ross smith today.

oh and i also wrote my part for the group assignemnt, used wiki and looked at 3 other journal articles to figure out what was going on :P it was quite interesting ;p

but now i must do other stuff :P

weekend

today i cleaned my room and rearranged my wardrobe - as in folded evrything and put clothes on its hanger.

i found ants in my bin...stupid ants... so i sprays lots of deo at them cos i don't use that looool and then used a tissue to wipe them ;p

went to woolies to buy watermelon, mangoes and ice cream for tonight's dinner cos aunty susan has uncle barry and uncle kim over with aunty linda and aunty yingying

Tomorrow I will do my washing and also start on biochem. actually i might start tonight after dinner but that will rpoabbly be in 2 hours or something :P

i will blog more cos that means i have nothing better to do hahahahahaah must quit tetris soon, my level is quite good hehehehe

Study slowdown

Today is thursday and i haven't posted in a while I'm getting quite lazy with my blog hahahaha

so tuesday was the double assessment and it was alright i suppose ;p i don't think it was a must pass assessment....not completely sure what i was supposed to do for one of them i know i had to draw histology but....not much more than that hahahahaha

the anatomy wasn't terrible but it wasn't great ;p a lot of what i studied came up so that wa sa good thing hehehehe

yesterday uncle kim brought csome live crabs 6 of them 3 for us and 3 for aunty susan's sisters. they were attacking each other and broke each other's claws :S

so we're having crab tonight yaya except aunty susan and uncle mkae both don't want any so i am having crab tonight :D ummm aunty susan bought me a gourmet burger for lunch so so so yummy drooool ;p

i haven't brought my bag to uni for the las 2 days hahahahahah awesome eh?

gave blood today hahahs pure of the moment good thing i drank lots of lipton ice tea last night;p

The key to procrastination

I think the key to procrastination si a computer. even though its so useful in finding out information with google and typing up word documents and looking at uni files etc it is also a great tool for procrastination. tetris is a prime example :D been playing a lot basically what happened was i went to level 1 not just level 1 0 star level 1 then i won 2 games and i was at level 15 and now i am at level 18 i think was at 19 but i kinda forgot how to play at this level gotta be somewhat fast ;p

not tooo sure how to study for histology aside from seeing what things look like and being able to identify them so i tried that and draw 3 histology slides the last one i am quite happy with. to differentiate regions i sahded in a different direction, vertical horizontal and diagonal ;p and i figured out that using solid lines looks much better so one continuous line looks much better than lots of shaded lines. and a sharp pencil so i will bring that along and also a rubber hahahahahahaha. labels in black

looked at the assessment criteria and there are a few things stressed, identify structures, label diagram with what it is and yeah.

tomorrow I plan to draw a diagram showing relationship between the nerves and such. i think i should have downloaded the anatomy dissection videos but oh well i can always do that later ;p I think for histology i just need to get proportions and dimensions right and for this reason I shall need to bring a ruler :P

Dad's birthday

today is dad's birthdya so i called and it turns out he forgot hahahahaha mum forgot as well i was like dad did you go out or did you decided to stay home and make mum cook you abaolone. he said ummm i forgot so i did the cooking

i laughed ;p

umm had the crazy impromtu presentation and they were quite harsh with marking about 60

% all rounmd give or take about 10%

dissection was really short and we were all hungry after it but i dunno like when we went to anatomy library we kinda lost teh hunger. we had some anatomical talk before we just started chatting ;p that was actually pretty fun :d libraries are great polaces to talk...just if tehre is no one else lolo!

got a bruise as well cos elaine attacked me! what happened was i was standing there stretching when elaine threw her chair at me and i flinched and whacked just under my kneecap on the table - bruise. i put some chinese wine on it so it should be all good :D

Been sick

Well this holidays i was sick first time in queensland :( had panadol and it works :D it is a good remedy for sickness hahahaha. Even though I know it is just that my brain isn't getting the signals and that the body is still under 'threat' i hope the circulating cytokines and chemokines are enough to fight off the infection without the hypothalamus having to incraese the body temperature to improve the efficiency of the immune response.

been doing some anatomy and veins aren't that hard if you refer to lecture notes as well since they only want internal jugular, external jugular and facial pretty much - biut confused about pharyngeal plexus but will perservere!

been taking lots of panadols 9 now i think....maybe 7 not sure hahahahaha lemon and honey and lots of sleep best cures for sickness i think its a cold and not the flu cos i don't have fever.

Half way mark

so i've done quite a few things this holidays.

helped aunty susan when she hosted a lunch for her teacher mr lam and his wife mrs lam gosh he's been everyewhere hahahaha if there is any historical value there he's gone cos he wasa histroy and english teadcher :D

went to chinatown in fortitude valley to get some sea cucumber for mum gonna send it by alex.

got my room tidied and messed it up today while trying to work on immunology hahahaha

am not feeleing 100% atm cos i think i've had too much junk food eugh....feel slightly feverish - is this the flu have i gotten sick :O

so there is still half the week left yessss time to start working.

i barely touched the computer today only form about 10-1 lol

Gold coast mark 22

Today was fun :D

despite going to sleep at 1 45 cos i was playing words with friends with victor :P I was able to wake up at 8 hahahahah of coruse i was tired but we left at about 8 and i pretty much fell asleep in the car. got to griffith uni looked at it and the surrounding areas befoer we went to pacific fair, australia fair and finally harbour town which is like DFO but b etter cos there were midseason sales and everything was really cheap :d got 2 pairs of shoes one black noe sport for 69 thought it was gonna be 50 but oh well. got a pair of white pants hahahahaha not 100% sure why i bought them i think its cos i was looking for a while at the shop and actually found a bargain which i fitted lol!

oh forgot had a really ncie thick shake but there was just so much of it lol so so much -_-

slept on the way back as well hahahaha

played another game of wrods with friends but didn't finish it cos it was 1 and i stopped finished it today though! lost.... was too far behind from yesterday i think hahahaha

ummm went for lunch and decided not to do washing. the place had bowls of rice...for 3 bucks a bowl sio expensive -_-

taught aunty linda how to scan looked at her net booked a flight and looked at some houses and taught her how to use her skype hahahahaha

Reminiscing

About 2 minutes ago I was talking to helen about how we met everyone in the group and she pointed out that we met on o day...i don't remember that hahahahahah but it is good to have these memories :D

back when everything was still shaky and uni was all brand new with so many things happening! now its boring hahahahahah looks like i gotta change unis ;p just joking they're not getting rid of me that easily :P

played tetris with ben and it seems my second game is the best...first game is pretty bad hahahahahaha and then ben gets into his rhythm and pwns :(

passed my test! but i think it was a conceded pass.... or not! i don't know :P but i passed and now it is onwards to study! in good mood but its too late. i spent the day wondering if i passed or not and thinking what i'd do if i failed like when to organise to come in during midsem etc but no need now!

i shall do all i need to do for molecular biology and biochemistry! IT WILL GET DONE!

If you are still following then firstly I would like to thank you for all the wonderful support over the last couple of years... who am i kidding this thing isn't even 2 years old yet hahahhaha

So my theory of when mum calls up i don't have to blog seems flawed...cos i don't blog even if she doesn't call hahahahaha

anyway i'll just start on saturday. I went to toowoomba for carnival of flowers. so much better this year. the parade was good but the gardens were much nicer, flowers grown so they look like a picture, ingenious! got some hersehys :D yummmmm hahahahaha ;p

went for a late lunch whihc was pretty yummy and got back at about 5.

next day did washing and went to look at some electronics hahahaha awesome :D

washing wasn't completely dry despite the heat cos i put them on the line funny but its all good now. the new monitor makes the other laptop look bad and that one made the one before look bad ;p seems like i'm constantly upgrading eh?

monday was fun, practised the tooth i failed...but helen tells me it is a retest of the same tooth as the first time...i need to polish well! argh! need to learn how to polish properly -_- just youtubed it...youtubed so much

today was funny because the our afternoon lecturer came into our morning lecture LOL we were all confused ;p we had another lecturer come in later and went super fast and finished early gosh so much info.....so so so much. I WILL STUDY TOMORROW that lecture and learn some anatomy and do some of peter dodd's lecture

today was actually pretty good didn't feels sleepy during the lecture cos we were tlaking at lunch isntead of playing games on the phone or napping so yay good fun :D hope it more like that

GAF was interesting cos we were taking it so slowly and then the tutor just ripped it apart hahahahahhaha and there was as specimen whcih was done perfectly and had all these nerves and stuff. need to learn everything! been quite lax this sem its creeping up on me!

hahahahaha that was the start of the conversation that made me blog. haven't blogged in a while actually. it has been a while.

So on thursday i remember cleaning my room all day and throwing out all this rubbish before reaccumulating more so basically i cleaned my room but it sorta looks messy again.

Monitor came and I set up both mine and aunty susan's and the screen is really bright, quite happy with it and it is big but it easily fits into the space on the computer table :D

got a new didgital radio cos mine was pretty screwed from now on i'm only buying electronics from the city so much easier to get a replacement :P its cos i bought it from logan which is another region blah blah blah had to call up store etc

got a reverse travel adapter for japan and cos the headlight i bought needs one as well.

set up monitor got wioreless keyboard and mouse and i quite like this set up :D

did washing on saturday and talked to mum and dad for over 2 hours.

sunday learn arteries but veings put me off so went on to nerves :D didn't really get too far tbh

today did competency and passed yay only one more to go!

It seems like I haven't been up to much but on sunday mum and dad both called and i was at sunny bank and studying :D.

paypal gave me back money yay turns out that there was another account with my my card so that is how i was scammed...

had cake had ice cream and strawberries hahahahahah

gonna do some work now. gotta quit these ridiculous facebook games :(

Birthdays

So firstly I'd like to wish sonya a happy birthday cos it was yesterday and i was too tired yesterday.

so many days ago there were plans for sonya's birthday it was easy cos she told us what she wanted and we got it then with remaining money got some dodgy rpesents ;p

elaine took care of speakers, helen took care of earrings and eye liner. ben and i took care of ridiculous present :P an ice cream machine that i am not sure works hahaha

we then had a baking day which was filled with 1 hours of baking and 2 hours of eating and an hour of card making and an hour of gift wrapping. helen had waaaaay too much fun with the hot glue gun hahahaha especially since i had run out of tape...time to renew my art supplies :P

i made roast chicken and those things take forever to cook eugh...

next up was the day so i was lugging around the ice cream amchine pretty much all day and gave it to sonya 2 hours before the cake was due to arrive but after lecture it all fell into place and sonya was surprised! success!

then we went shopping for helen's presents, body shop gosh so much smell my nose was very confused, everything smelt suppoosedly good and i was glad jenny was there to tell me what actually smelt good ;p the assistant talked so so so much omg......

we then went to get an amazing bag from a designer warehouse whcih i just asked for and they gave it nicely :D

went to lovisa across the place and got a necklace. went to jb before actually and got the game then ben and i went for a really really long walk.................. so much lostness hahahahaha and turned out the place was booked out LAME so booked pancake manor.

it was all good in the end hahaha

and today the fireworks were really good with the light show :D:D:D:D:D:D:d

So i've kept up with the study regime :d its good!

but today's drilling test so many fails...so so many 75% fail hahahahahaha jennifer picked up canvas thanks!

now time for bed....dna is not my strong suit i can say that much :P

Motivation to study

Hi guys its been a while and I am proud to say I have found motivation to do work which happily coincides with the reinstallation of sc :D

The progress I've made.

1. using coloured paper for each subject because I have realised that lecture notes are not always going to be there and i like colour

2. draw stars next to important points which the lecturer either repeats tells us is important or dwells on for a while

3. discuss ideas from lectures with sonya

4. post on facebook page so i looks smart even though most of it is sonya's

and that is how i have found motivation :D

LONG STORY

I realised it has been about 4 days.

First on friday we had a really boring boring lecture...so bad hahahahaha good thing he's no longer lecturing :P tomorrow is someone else. then the next lecture said it would start at 10 30 but it actually started at 11 so we waited outside the room for half an hour.

This brings up the immunology exam which i think has been forgotten or forgiven by ashman. he gave a really good lecture or maybe i just thought it was good cos i remembered how much i actually like immunology and the lecture was good since we've read up on immunology hahahahah

then after that sonya suggested we go get chips. so we did. delicious!!! it was at hawken village not at the eateries at uq hahahaha the chips were really well seasoned and they were really yummy :D

then we decided to go watch captain america since we didn't have any more pracs for the day. it was pretty good, the time went by really fast i think i could get something more from watching the movie again but probably won't watch it again ;p

then on saturaday i had quite a productive day, made a lot of ntoes for 2022 about 4 pages. I did my washing and had to stay home when aunty susan and uncle mark went to buranda and sunnybank. At sunnybank aunty susan told me how she thought the person tried to scam her of $2 and they wanted her to go through a long process. in the end, it turns out the $2 was dropped into her bag so on sunday we went back to sunny bank - for lunchaz

so at sunnybank we went to oriental - hoi nan gei fan, cha guer diow, cha mi. hahahaha fried noodles and rice with chicken ;p

it was alright and not too expensive which was good. we then went to the shop to return the $2 hahahaha aunty susan is a bit strange like that ;p

we then went to woolies and bought stuff, i got some up and go for 5 bucks there was heaps!

was tired and so was aunty susan so we went to nandos for dinner :D

i forgot to have a shower so i had to have one this morning.

today i woke up before aunty susan and made myself rbeakfast and lunch because she came out like 10 minutes before i left. i had a shower and was gonna have up and go but ate a snadwich instead

preclinic failed exam i think its cos of the 50 minute break or the 5 ripped rubber dams omg so many....

played some foosball

went to clinic and it was so fun. I think my interest was reignited cos of that clinic session and a couple of other things picking up like immunology and no more worrall....that guy eugh...

but dent is pretty fun atm :D which is a change from last week or the week before which i thought it was getting ridiculously boring

First assessment for the semester

So yesterday i did quite a bit of work and found out today that i didn't need to learn all those bacteria hahahahah that was disappointing ;p

test was an hour finished all the questions

went to voda with ben and helen and sorted out helen's phone issues finally!

went for lunch woolies and dessert :D

then came home hahahahaha

quite a bit happened today actually quite fun :D except i think we were tired so yeah kinda glad we didn't go ekka :P

A funny sleep

So there is a reason i didn't blog yesterday aside from being lazy.

Yesterday was interesting actually hahahaha. Firstly the lecture in the morning finished early whcih meant i could go to preclinic early and happened to talk to carol a bit cos she was prepping something for the first years ;p. the session was quit productive for a couple of cavities cut and did a prep for the upcoming exam.

i forgot to check my teeth omg omg omg....it completely slipped my mind :( this is terrible :( i just realised that i will be using my test model well i remember checking them the other time so lets hope it was good then :D

so the prac went alright had lunch then went to the clinic session. The clinic session was not the same as last week. basically all the patients were out in an hour and a half but dr russell decided to test us and so he gave us 3 tutorial questions which were pretty tricky. the first one got us stumped and the other 2 were alright good thing it was a group thing and not individual lol

went to get duck and looked for a laser pionter they are too expensive hahaha. then went home had dinner and shower watched some tv and slept lol! 7 30 to 1 30 where aunty susan woke me up telling me to go to bed cos my light was still on :P so i got up did a tiny bit of work before printing out lectures and went back to bed. at about 2 or 2 15 ish.

got up at about 7 went to uni 15 minutes early and we started the presentation 10 minutes late hahahaha ;p so about half an hour of hanging around time :P went pretty well dr ford liked it hahahaha so all good

the workshop was quite long there was quite a lot of work and i was glad i brought a textbook hahahaha ;p must study that for later omg.

the next thing we did was have lunch and wait for the lecture at union complex. amanda came and so many people i'd never seen before hahahaha. went to the lecture and it was a sleepy atmosphere for first 30 minutes but last 20 was alright.

hung around for a bit before coming back home. going to finish kazoullis's lectures and make some tables tonight :D

awesome!

Living alone

starting on friday aunty susan left for rockhampton to visit uncle mark's family and friends who still live there.

they had been packing for a while and aunty susan made herself quite a few snacks hahahaha. I went to uni and the microbiology labs were alright cos we didn't have to do that much mroe analysing results more than anything else

well now i am done of microbiology except for that random test worth 5% on thursday and the final.

anyway i had to cook for myself so the first day since i got home at 6 i got some fish and chips it was alright would have liked crispy salmon should have just got the raw fish and cooked it myself oh well...

then yesterday i had spagetti for breakfast went shopping at lunchtime and bought goriceriies and cooked myself a sandwich oooo yeah!. the i made myself a nice steak. it was good. T bone :D

then today i made myself sausage and egg with some stuff for breakfast, sandwich made of pasta sauce for lunch and dinner was fried rice i have some for tomorrow too :D

on phone for 2 hours wiht mum dad and jennifer alex is sick.

found i have actually a bit to talk about for muscles :D yay!

Telstra

Hello there

On the day Telstra decided to announce it was giving 14 cents dividends per share to shareholders i found out that the broadband man was indeed not coming.

To add to this the self install kit they sent to me was not working as it should so I am still stuck on mobile broadband. I had hoped the modem would be in my room but that is not the case for you see it has to be with the telephone line...which sucks.

So I will be using wifi which my laptop can detect yay! but unfortunately there is no internet that comes with that boooo

so i missed a lecture which seemed to be sort of repeat of last semester and a group meeting to wait for a man who show up in the end, i was stood up by a telstra technician. made 2 calls which were long but alright i spose cos they gave me peice of mind but they promised to call but never did. I guess they realised something was horribly wrong on their part hahaha.

anyway tomorrow aunty susan and uncle mark are going to rockhampton so i am left to fend for myself...YAY :D:D:D:D:D

i will actually have to do a bit of work both for the lecture i missed but also for group presentation and catch up work. i've actually been quite good and made word documents at least 4 pages long for each subject....i'm just saying that hahahahaha

Settling back in

so when i got back to queensland I didn't really want to be here cos it was such a stark contrast to sydney. however now that we've gone out as a group a couple of times and uni is a lot more relaxed this semester i don't mind uni, its sorta fun even ;p i talk to dr albert and my lab tutor -fiona a bit so the pracs are alright.

actually today i was eating popcorn in the lecture :d and elaine commented on the strong caramel smell hahahahaha so yummy :D

i pointed out i have exposed elaine to 2 yummies in 2 days grain waves and kernel popcorn :D

anyway settling back into brisbane

and i broke a glass last night hahahahaha

uq open day

today is uq's open day for year 12 students which means there were lots of lectures for different subjects and courses and stuff but ben and i weren't interested in that, we're already in the best gosh!

so we went for the demonstrations and the activities and the freebies - mainly to get free uq environmental bags hahahaha i'll bring one back to sydney and give it to jennifer she likes purple :P

so i woke up at 9 and had to be at uni by about 10 15 so i had plenty of time having to leave at about 9 55 to catch my bus. i left at 9 50 and got to the bus stop at 10. waited 10 minutes and the bus was full...

i wasn't about to wait for 30 minutes os i caught the next bus at 10 12 and went to buranda and walked to PA hospital station which is about 5-7 minute walk depending onw hcih exit you take from buranda -i took the wrong one ;p

so there i waited 10 minutes for a bus and hopped on. it was the bus 20 minutes after ben's one so i was about 20 minutes late.

luckily there wasn't that much interest in the laser show...and for good reason omg it was so boring it was like a lecture geeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeez. talking about wavelengths and stuff how different mediums can change the colour of light......sooooooo boring

so then we went to look at metallic hedgehogs whhich is absically megnetised liquid or rather tiny dust magnets in a surfactant which is manipulated to form spikes in a container, pretty cool :D. after that we went to the other lab and they were extracting DNA and i saw a tutor who was like ;how come you're here' hahahahah funny as!

we then went to get freebies but so many lines around! ben and i had waited in sausage sizzle line and watched some macbeth which was a drama on stage. the sausages were good! so soft and moist hahahahaha

we then went to get some freebies from a car and i got an awesome deodorant for free yay and a bottle of water :D

we then went to an information for yr 10 students lecture to find out all about uq hahahaha while we waited for helen. helen came at 1 and we went to lunch pizza cafe. 30 minute wait on the pizza and lines up for about 15 but we got our pizzas and we were out of there towardds the chem demonstration.

the pizza were alright but...OMG THE CHEM DEMO WAS AMAZING. so many pops and fires and explosions and geeez chem is so much more fun as a demonstration than as theory haahahahaha ;p

so then we went to the lolly shop and i spent more money there than on lunch hahahah got new bottle ice cream and lollies surprise!

went home with a much less dramatic day. had a 2 hr nap cos i can and then had the moistest chicken drumsticks ever omg delicious!

posted letter to mum walked out during masterchef and didn't miss much. in the break ebtween the masterchefs i got quite a bit of work done hahahah and chucked stuff on usb for sonya. i think i am gonna be in a really good rhythm for the rest of the semester :D masterchef has finished hahahaha!

anyway time to get back to work for an hour before heading off to bed.

i got new pillows and they are amazing! good sleep :D:D

Sleep

well this is a funny topic cos everyone loves it! except insomniacs of course they hate it cos they can't have it.

so today i woke up about 12 times between 7 and 10 30 telstra man came and fixed the telephone line cos it died for some reason....

brought strawberries and anzac biscuits to uni today -to get rid of them :D they were gotten rid of hahahaah

so we have lost 3 lectures hahahah that's like 25 bucks in uni fees man! might be more i dunno don't really keep track of fees cos i haven't got them this year ;p

today's microbio lab was alright i thought but i heard lots of people complaining how boring it all was :P oh well!

so i got home and found out aunty susan didn't get my message i was coming late cos the phone died for some reason hahahahahaha!

oh well 1pm start tomorrow i should head of to bed soon anyway g night!

Sports day

so helen pointed out that i should post about this cos i told her i would tell her about it hahahahaha

so friday we had a day off cos uq had a research day and this didn't involve undergrads ;p so traditionally there is a sports day where everyone shows off their prowess ;p

so the day started off strangely cos we didn't know what was going on since the place it is usually held at was unavailable for some reason so we were moved to another field which was kinda fenced off and didn't have as good facilities - one dodgy tap and a couple of powerpoints ;p and had to lug the bbq a fair distance.

so anyway there were lots of drinks which i hadn't ever had before and a big punch thing. basically i met up with ben at uq lakes and went to try and find the place we got there on time and found jenny already there and then also about 8 other people. not sure when sonya arrived nor elaine tbh hahaha. annabel and michael came for about half an hour before leaving for their lectures and then petting goats hahahaha

after they left i remember ben jenny and i played some sport. sonya simply walked off the field hahahahahahaha. she met elaine outside and i am proud ot say that my team beat ben's team....1-0 :D

after that we were all so so tired lol! shows how fit we are eh?

so i had to change out of my jeans and got into shorts.

dye water fight was fun but oh gosh so freaking cold when the wind came :P

waterguns and waterbombs ftw :D:D third years were late so it was all good hehehehehe!

later we played piggy in the middle before some more organised activities like water wrestling which was hilarious!

tug of war which 2nd years won :D some random race

and 5 stations which had the people do dodgy dodgy things like eat toothpaste covered weet bix eughhhhhh

first half was so much better than the second half lol i guess i was too tired in the second half :P

My package

hi guys! so today i'll be talking all about my package.

its about 30 ish cm long and about 20 cm wide. and it has been a big problem.

i now realise why my textbook is so late. its kinda annnoying cos toll distrbuter seems to come when there is no one home. 3 times.

they don't leave it at the door as well so that makes it doubly difficult since they want a signature. i missed the guy who came today by seriously 3 minutes so so so annoying :(

so now i have to go pick it up from the airport. uncle mark is willing to go on saturday cos even though he works near the airport about 2/3 of the way there its hard since there is so much traffic :P

OH and i had uni at 1pm today. first time ever! and its every week :D:D:D:D:D:D yay

gosh this is an amazing timetable :D

so things are looking up :D that's good cos things are finally looking up since i've been back :D its the long term things whcih prop you up for a while not the short term ones even though they are nice hahahahaha

Back to Uni

so i bet you're wondering why i haven't been posting that much

basically mum's been call;ing me everyday for an hour or so, because of this there isn't really that much to say but i'll go from where i left off.

On Wednesday I remeber going with Aunty susan to JoJo's which is one of Brisbane's oldest restaurants and gosh it looks amaaaaazing inside and has a balcony which overlooks the city. i had the prawn gnocchi and it was the best gnocchi i've ever had :D i don't even know how to spell that :P. I then had their famous caramel tart and gosh so so rich but the cream balanced it out. one of the few times i really really enjoyed the cream being there :D

i went to see my exam and then went to centrelink and sorted out my bank account thing.

the next day we had a really long long day with about 7 hours of lecture about microbiology which is really really intense. i used green paper and i think i'll keep this sort of system going meaning that each subject gets each colour :D

so anyway friday we had 3 hours prac followed by a lecture about deadly bacteria and not only that but also about the risks which many dentists take with their equipment and how we should be caring for it.

so we had so so much information on bacteria in the mouth and the water in a couple of days and also about viruses and stuff. gosh its not happy stuff but walsh'sdemeanour makes it much easier to stay awake hahahaha it so funny the things he laughs at. its like 'so every year or 2 a student gets hepatitis B hahahahaha its like they just go all yellow hahahaha' we're like ha...ha...ha... but its funny how he says it :P

we learnt so many things like how scratching a pimple in the danger triangle can kill you and also the difference between cold and flu, one being viral in origin ;p we then went out for dinner to korean bbq then went to play games at timezone and funhouse.

so then weekends i did my washing and then went to a picnic which was filled with food so much fruit and bread hahahaha played some footy and chatted with so many people i hadn't seen before :P

sunday i cleaned my room vacuumed and deleted starcraft which is kinda funny cos people wanted to play sorry to disappoint ;p

monday was the start of a new week. essentially the start of uni again and the first lesson was pretty good, the prac was good too :D. finished at 12 yaaaaaaaaaaaaaay not next week though ;p

then today strange new room. a lecturer didn't rock up but we made plans for what to do on friday and then we also decided to look through facebook adn play with mics etc :D that was quite fun actually :P

anyway now that i have pretty much destroyed entertainment i have a lot more time, more time to read my textbooks i spose :P

So i've been a little lax with my blog

Hello!

So the last couple of days have been alright ish cos they haven't really been that boring ;p

I don't really remember where i left off last time but yeah....

so i've been trying to deal with bank account hijack and there are so many things to do eugh bettter be safer with my debit card eh?

so i've done quite a few things gone to westpac centrelink and contacted paypal ummmm what else...i've bought a few things gone to look at my exam had that clinical day, yeah not too much ;p

I feel fat

so today i woke up at about 11 30 which is what fat people do cos they're lazy and all that hahahhaah anyway had a breakfast of rice vegies and giniger pork fillet followed by lunc 2 hours later cos i'm fat like that of pumpkin soup and some turkish bread.

i then sat down til about 5 30 pm and getting off the chair was a struggle and showering was just so hard and not worth it but i did it anyway hahaha

ummm dinner i ate for about 2 hours and chatted with someone who i am not too sure how they know aunty susan but oh well they were nice and their 8 month old boy was one of the best behaved babies i've seen in a restaurant for a long time ;p

i finished off dessert and after 6 bowls of rice and food i think i had enough but managed to put abother 2/3 of dessert in me :P

tomorrow i have clinic and that should be fun :D i mean how can it not? :P looked over the schedule and i've prionted everything. it is at 9am so that means i have to get out of bed by about 8 that will be challenging ;p alarm!!! anyway i have to go play games now hehehehehe

The holidays that were

Uni starts again at the beginning of next week for me, not so for other dent people though hahahahaha.

I was feeling pretty crap getting on the plane cos its sort of a stark contrast when you compare the fun I've had in Sydney to the study which has to be done in Brisbane and I kinda know that sc won't be able to distract me nor will facebook this semester as the idea of failing looms ever so close the closest its ever been. or rather failing and repeating. I guess that is why I haven't looked so intently on returning to uni.

anyway i'll try to remember everything that happened in sydney this last 3 weeks.

So lets start in brisbane actually. The final exam finished and I don't remember ever being so excited to jump on a plane i guess it is the rush that comes with doing so many big things in a short time finishing an exam packing then flying out all withing 2 hours or an hour and a half!

So it was all quite rushed and in the end i had to wait about 40 minutes but I met Sonya at the airport and decided to race her to Sydney as she was flying jetstar and i was flying virgin. even though her flight was 10 minutes later than mine, i think she won cos mine was delayed. i got complimentary pay tv for the flgiht though. The flight was at 4pm so by the time it arrived in Sydney my breath was taken away by the beauty of sydney during the night while we landed.

It is gorgeous.

SO SO glad i got a window seat :D but there were a two people sitting next to me and it was the first time that I had ever actually talked to someone else on the plane. Its actually quite fun finiding out why they are flying to Sydney and what they're doing :D

so after that I went to the 10 minute free parking zone for picking people up. it was quite exciting and ....cold at the same time because allen was picking me up after his final exam :D so i waited there and found kirby and adam in the car as well! amazing!!

so we had a little catch up and made fun of allen while he was driving so he couldn't really come up with that many comebacks :P it was a nice trip and mum decided to go to cook's hill for dinner and invited my friends along so we went and got a table for all of us and got some juice...i think it was juice anyway and dinner. i think most people finished theirs :P i remember angela getting well done and i was like WHAAAAAAT and allen's medium rare being a lot more on the rare side than the medium side hahahahahaha. for some reason eating half your meal as well done and half as medium rare makes it worse than just eating it medium rare hahahahahahahaa.

jennifer gave one of her 2 steaks to alex and i was like oh i'll wait for mum to get one of hers....i never got it she ate them both hahahahahah jennifer and i had a quiet laugh about that as we were both amazed that mum could finish it and that my plan had failed.

so then we went home and i unpacked with jennifer making many remarks that i am wearing clothes. thanks for that jennifer :P

so the next day was sunday and i don't really remember it terribly well because there weren't that many amrkers i just remember mum saying that she'd be surprised if in dad's week off we managed to get the 2 basins she bought installed. we managed to surprise her alright :D however it did pretty much take the whole week lol! no instructions and going off on tangents and realising so many thigns were wrong really takes time to figure out hahahahaha

i'll walk you through it. so we got the first sink from the garage out and brought it into the house. we pulled the old one apart and cleaned up around it...a lot of dust and for some reason rust was there..... so after that we decided we had no idea where all these screws and all these bolts and how to use the hangers..... so i jumped on youtube and looked around. to no avail. it pretty much showed me that there were about 200 different ways to install a basin and they all used different tools to what we had.

so by the end of the day i just marked out where the sink would go with a few reference marks and i had bought about half the stuff we needed...but i didn't know that.

there was no hacksaw but there were blades so i decided to cut the pipes by hand....literally every single time i cut it it took about 5 minutes whereas with a hacksaw it'd take about 20 seconds....don't know where we put it hahahahahahaha along with the 20 blades it came with. had to work with one :P

so that was the first one sort of planned out. i went to sivieng's house and we watched 300 and some starcraft. its kinda depressing when you see pros play and you see yourself play hahahahahaah. and 300 we kinda bad the 3rd time i watched it lol!

basically it was at 6pm when i think tony suggested we go to kevin's (sivieng cos there are 2 kevins) house and i had to be late cos i was finishing up on the day's work so then i went and found tehy went for a kfc run.....hung out with tony because he's vegetarian or vegan not even sure anymore hahahahahahaha. and we watched starcraft. the guys came back an hour later don't even know why they bragged how they got into 200 fights with lebs and niggers.....i kinda don't eblieve them hahahahaahah so while they ate their wicked wings we watched some 300 cos it happened to be on tv at the time.

i had my ice cream. when the movie finished i decided to dirve home and everyone else decided to leave. we left by the side way and omg it was so freaking cold and the ground was freezing cos i left my shoes at the front door omg my feet became blocks of ice. it was also really dark in the 10 - 15 between the front and abck yard hahahahahaha. it was so dark that when i stopped someone from behind me walked into me...you could not see anything!

so i drove home and then had a shower and went to bed. the next day i bought the other things i needed to in order to get the sink to work. that mean getting a connector for the pipes between the drainage pipes cos we were replacing the one downstairs cos its metal and gross... had to kinda break some of the cement which locked it in place and i have yet to replace it...just never got around to it hahahahahahahaha i'll do it next holidays :P so much crouching.

so after i thought everything was done we turned on the water and....the pipe leaked. it dind't leak last time but that's cos we didn't bend it at the soldered joint so anyway we turned it off shoved some bread to stop the water from interfering with the soldering and we soldered the pipe together and waited 20 minutes before we turned the water on again. it worked! during that 20 minutes wait i got a call from david asking if i was going to leon's. i completely forgot about leon's party and he was going away to china for a couple of weeks so it'd be my last chance to see him so i told dad that i had to go and went. he was fine i mean he could have managed himself but me doing it means he has to crouch for a lot less time hahahahahah

so i got to leon's and talked to david for about 15 minutes before he had to go and chun was going to leave as well but we kinda persudaded him to stay and the three of us (including leon) stayed and watched taken. such a good movie. there were some really inappropraite things which we said that were only really really tangentially linked to the movie but we had such a good time i really think it was worth it :D so much laughing hahahahaahahahah

so that was the first sink done and the first 3 things i did in the holidays. the second sink was supposed to be a lot easier but that didn't prove to be the case. the third trip to the hardware store proved that because we couldn't replace the metal pipe that connected the sink to the drain otherwise we'd have to make the hole int he ground bigger and there was nothing wrong with the pipe unlike the other one..... so we replaced the top half of the metal pipe after cutting it with a metal grinder and had to use that to cut the copper water pipes as well so that we could lift the sink out. found out that there was a lot fo space filler jennifer alex and i had put in about 10 years ago and it was retaining water leading to the wood underneath to rot. also the hinges which we had were meant for this sink and not the other one. it all began to make sense hahahahaha. so anyway the old rust ones took a while to get out and figuring out how to put the sink in took another while so i don't remember what i did that day....i might have gone over to allen's but i suspect that was another day......i really do hahahaha so lets say i just stayed home and chatted to people online and played games :P

the next day i remember quite well because jennifer made remarks about my masculinity as i was playing robot unicorn attack hahahahah that was funny she said omg its a rainbow unicorn that makes rainbows to break stars and WOW there is a dolphin in the mix as well...thomas gosh

she was just jealous!

so anyway we had to cut the wood that the old sink was sitting on because the new one kinda didn't allow it to be there and we figure out how to mount the sink and how to connect the pipes cos this one was really different to the other one...no space to cut the pipes in a circular manner. ended up cutting it in sections about 4 times and then pressing the sides together to get an almost circular shape before putting the connectors on and tightening the bolts really really tight that did the trick :D

the paint dad told me to apply earlier got everywhere kinda ridiculous all over my clothes and stuff hahahahahaha and it still looked terrible because the sink mum bought was too small which mean it dind't fit exactly in the space....maybe they were supposed to be the other way around? i don't know hahahahahhaahah shhhhhhhhhhhh

so i kinda left the sinks where they were and i was ready to do the next job. tiling the area which had been bare for a few years since dad didn't want to put a different colour tile and the one was had were simply too old. it took a week to borrow the tile cutter and tiling equipment from my uncle but after that it was all good the same day i got it and learnt how to tile off youtube hahahahahah that thing is amazing but i didn't do such a professional job cos it just takes so so long hahahaha.

anyway that is a week later and totally destroys a lot of the things that happened in between.

emily and michelle came down from brisbane to visit sydney for a 5 days and i got to hang out with them for 2 of those days. i was late both times hahahahahha ;p

the first day was really really jam packed i have to admit i was so dead tired by the end of it. this was cos i went to manly before going to david's party. so it started off with me buying a 48 dollar my multi weekly....i didn't even travel that much with it only used about 30 doillars worth hahahaha

so i bought it on saturday i remmeber that! we went to manly and it was so so yummy! hahaha that doesn't really make sense does it? I REMEMBER NOW i wasn't late emily and michelle were! hahahaha ;p i sometimes get mixed up like that tut tut

so they had to fork out 13 20 for the tickets to get to manly gosh i didn't even get checked at all should have just boguht students but anyway.... we decided to go to adriano zumbo's cake shop first and we spent about 50 bucks on cake....they're on my facebook dp. i have to say though...

sososososososososososo GOOOOOOOOOOD when you figure out how much work was put into each of them.........geeeez.

i am wondering if i remember enough of each of them to do them justice or not....oh well here goes.

i'll start with the chocolate one

about 200 layers and it combined to be the richest most delicious choclate cake i've ever had. so much so that we decided not to finish it otherwise it'd ruin the flavours of the others so i got to take it home :D i wasn't sure if i could eat the sign on the cake or not so i took a bite out of the....carboard hahahahaha

once we got started we were so amazed at the flavours.

pandan the man was funny there was such a delicious pandan flavour coupled with coconut and lime ooooooooooooo and it looked so delicate as well i think it was michelle's favourite - correct me if i'm wrong

the cocoon was my favourite and emily's favourite. there was a layer of chocolate and with wafer bits incorporated into the choclate. that wasn't the amazing part though. there was like a base which looked like an anzac biscuit but when you got the spoon and pressed at it...it just melted away and you could eat it was the spoon...sort of like porridge but the most delicious sweet coconutty yummy flavour. and that's not all. within the chocolate ball - hence the coccoon name was a banana caramel delicousness. it was truly truly divine i didn't realise how much flavour the caramel gives to the banana

then there was the best chocolate mousse you'll ever eat. it was so light and so so fuyll of flavour and so so rich. there was the hint of coffee...well more than a hint but the base was so so amazing like a beautiful chocolate base which just crumbled away and added so much texture to the mousse *droool but the depth of flavour wasn't that amazing. the chocolate heart in the centre was surprising though hahahhahahahah we didn't realise it was there until about half way though

the last of the cakes was a passionfruit tart. it had the most delicious passionfruit curd i've ever had so so so good. it tasted as though you were eating passionfruit and the base was just yum so crumbly so good so so wow. it was my second favourite one :D

there were some macaroons as well and even though we didn't eat it on the day (next day ) they were so so much ebtter than the macaroons i've had before there were melt in your mouth treats and the flavours just worked together well and if it was just one flavour like chocolate it reminded me of the cake. so rich!

so then we decided that it was so fattening that we would walk along the beach. that kinda went out the window and we just lay there for about and hour hahahahah soooo lovely the day could not have been any sunnier :P

we then actually went around and shopped for a bit but dind't buy anything....the surfer idea doesn't really appeal to me and that is all around manly hahahahahaha

so we were walking around going to ben and jerry's when michelle decided to follow what a kid was doing but take a photo - walk with the water fountain between her legs. while taking the photo i think the three of us realised that the fountain gradually went higher leading to michelle getting a pair of wet jeans hahahahahaha

so we went to ben and jerry's and they didn't have the girl's sizes so they couldn't get a shirt i got some ice cream and it was really nice but not as nice as the cakes hahahahahahaah the cone was as amazing as i remembered :D

so then we went to catch the ferry and i think we were already tired at that stage. quite a few pictures i think were taken til that stage. the beautiful day kept being beautiful and the ferry ride back was just as lovely leaving as it was coming to manly. i don't remember why but there was a lot of sand in our hair hahaha no i was NOT responsible :P

so i had to leave pretty much as soon as we landed to catch a train to pick up allen and ann to go to david's house. i contiinued reading aesop's fables and its actually quite interesting reading the fables we grew up with, really it is and the train ride took an hour and 10 minutes...i should ahve waited another 6 minutes for the one which only took 53 minutes hahahahahah. a few calls and texts and i found out ann was running bit late and allen was playing rome total war hahahaha so i wasn't reprimanded for being half an hour late myself :P

the cake was in my bag for 2 days before alex found it and ate it and commented on how amazing it was :P

went to david's party and it was so amazing. saw people i hadn't seen in 2 years caught up with so many people and actually talked to tan. he's a pretty great guy :D i was smiling just talking to him hahahahaahah not very many people have that effect on me.........right? :P but he's a really funny guy and it was good fun. watched some guy raging for a while on youtube.

i remember quite a few details from the party but i don't think i should really share it...lets just say david's brother is kinda hyper and can be inappropraite but it can be so sosososo funny hahahahahaha

had a really good day that day :D drove home and realised that ice had formed on the car....it was that cold...took a while for the back thing to clear it up but it was cleared and it was all good. so cold but yeah i am sure my driving has improved.

I completely forgot to mention that i got my P's on the thursday of the first week hahahahahaha such an easy test touch when it tells you to slow down and don't touch on right turns easy. 15 minutes $114.

so the next! the next day i went to paramatta to shop and have lunch with emily and michelle. we shopped for about 20 minutes before deciding to have lunch i came a bit late that day cos i wasn't sure what time i was supposed to meet them. they went to see the houses emily had lived in before all 4 of them. so we went to try and find a place and saw an ice skating thing which was tiny and very expensive and we went to an italian place which had a really really really nice pesto and quite a delicious risotto but a lot of cheese was in it. it was 10 bucks for a meal and drink so that was very well priced considering how delicious it was :D we had some macaroons for dessert from zumbo and gosh...YUM

we then went to the medieval fair and when we found out that it cost 10 bucks to get in...and there was only about an hour left of the fair we decided against it and instead talked about eating children while walking towards the swings and slides and stuff in a playground hahahahaha. michelle decided to demonstrate her stability and poise while she walked across a wooden beam :P there is a video and it is like the third attempt that she got it hahahahhahaha i was watching in amazement...and helping her up :P

so we met this kid who was really really really energetic like he flew around all over the place and dragged michelle along hahahahahahaha and we found out that michelle has absolutely no upper body strength as she struggled to get through the monkey bars and couldn't do the double beams at all and then couldn't do a chin up hahahahahahahaha ;p

we then walked along paramatta river and i don't even remember what we were talking about but i remember something about the stomach contracting for some reason.... hahahahahah asbically michelle was showing off her nutrition knowledge :P

we caught a train and decided to walk to my place instead of calling mum for a ride. we played some scrabble because i found out the ps2 controller was broken...WHO BROKE ITITITITITIITITITT

and we looked at banana trees before leaving for sizzler. allen came over and drove jennifer and angela so the 6 of us had a nice dinner at sizzler hahahaha. i remember eating quite a bit and jennife rurnning into a few people she knew but most of all i remember laughing so hard at the home made video that michelle and emily made in bed hahahah that was so funny. it was especially funny when we watched it one frame at a time i won't embarass them but gosh i was clutching my stomach :P

got allen int he car and drove emily and michelle home. i didn't really focus on what they were talking about cos i hadn't really driven that way before but it was alright i hope id idn't get fined for some reason :P

i don't remember what happened on monday or tuesday very well i think i may have stayed home after doing so much in the previous week yeah.....that all happened in a week

so on wednesday i went shopping with allen and bought a lot of junk food and by a lot i mean a lot about 150 dollars of just junk food hahahahahahaah so so good :P

i now know that grain waves and lipton ice tea really do make a party :D as do tiny teddies hahahahahahaha

so on wednesday i stayed over at allen's and watched the football got warned that because they had solar hot water system the hot water might not work that well if we had a shower too late hahahahahahaha

blues lost meh even if they won it'd be meh ;p

i remember planning to sleep early at about 11 ish but ended up talking to allen til about 2 hahahahahahaha that was really funny :P i don't even remember too well what we were talking about but it was must have been interesting to keep me up :P

so the next day my party was starting at 12 and i got there at about 11 30. people came in and out til about 6pm hahah there were about 8 people. we were chatting quite a bit amongst ourselves and played some monopoly and tried to work out a puzzle which chun eventually did. when all the girls left we decided to go to the backyard and demonstrate our manliness by kicking soccer balls around and punching down banana trees and uising those banana trees to break other banana trees and then trying to throw it as far as we could

ben kept wrestling laurence and hanson joined the fray a couple of times. laurence lost his wallet and phone a few times hahahahahahaha that was funny :P and when laurnece had to leave cos his dad called ben was like gimme a hug with his hip fully thrust forwards :P i was laughing so hard!

after laurence refused ben gave him a normal hug...or so he though he got tripped and it was wrestling all over again. tony hanson and i were all laughing so much it gave true meaning to rofl.

adam and allen slept over and i introduced robot unicorn attack to allen and he kinda got addicted hahahahahahaha ;p they had to leave early in the morning...or rather before midday :P and i don't really remember what i did.

OH i forgot about my amazing starcraft party i had the day before my party! one person came becaus ethe nature of starcraft is that you can actually play from home! who would have thought right?

i don't really remember anything til saturday and that was when i thought that the day after was tuesday hahhaha

whatever happened must have been quite boring and this has been such a long long post so i'll just skip to more interesting events :P

tuesday i went paintball and drove allen there. we used the gps but didn't follow it exactly and it was so early in the monring i woke up at like 6 30 and left the house by 6 45 and drove to allen's before driving to heartbreak ridge for paintball ;p

so i decided to get 800 extra ammo and so i had 1000 all up. the first round kinda got me thinking about paintball and the second round kinda got me getting better.

it was really funny cos i had a purple hoodie on which really made me stand out from the crowd but i thinkit relaly helped cos it covered my ears from being completely chaffed by the hard plastic mask thing.

spent about 150 bucks on paintball but it was so fun :D i didn't realise how hungry i was until a whole pizza was put in front of me and i ate it all. drove tony and kp home - the other kevin. there were a few highs of paintball hahahaha i remember shooting through the very small hole and showehow got shot between the overalls and between my hoody sleeve and it hit my wrist area ;p

another one was when i snuck up behind 3 people and was just about to shoot them when a 4th person saw me and just really let it fly i got hit so badly there hahahahahhaha he had the machine gun one :P

thang decided to dance during the second last match hahahahah that was so funny. the rule is you get hit and you leave right? well he just kept dancing hahahahahahahaha oh gosh

allen kept getting out really quickly cos he would just charge the enemy whereas i waited it out and sneak attacked and only died to campers....campers suck!

ummmmmmmmmmm i don't think anything happened til harry potter whcih was the next day ;p baically it was all organised really really last minute like oh wanna see it? awesome lets go. so i drove natalie to granville station cos there was trackwork and we went to see harry potter. i boguht the 8 tickets and met adam allen and ellie like right outside the cinema hahahah they were already in the city. we went for dinner the 5 of us and decided to go to the first restaurant we felt like we could go to. it was an ok priced not very big meal indoensian place but we had so much fun i would really miss days like that again made me remember just how much fun i used to have with these guys. met up with tram angela and sarah and we went to watch the movie. oh also went to 85 degrees so many people lining for cake at like 8 pm kinda ridiculous ;p

so we watched harry potter and it was alright left the cinema at about 11 took a train to granville. i drove adam natalie, angela and sarah home well adam stayed over and we filled petrol. it was actually a really fun car ride even though it was about an hour long hahahahahahaha gosh reminded me of the car ride to jamberoo where getting there was so much fun compared to actually being there ;p

so again we were supposed to sleep early but by the time allen came over it was 1 well by the time i drove him home it was 1 - allen and adam stayed over again we were exhausted. adam had to leave early for work and allen left about 1 30 after lunch ish.... we jhust grabbed like 10 things and ate it...dodgiest meal ever lol and like crumbed chicken breat some vietnamese thing you eat with fish saice, fish sauce, rice and some random shredded pork with noodles and soemthing else....don't remember :P

rest of the day i was just resting i think.... kinda tired from a couple of awesome days hahahaha i found my bruises which i got from paintball that day i didn't realise i actually got them ;p I also remember angela coming over one day but i don't remember the exact day but we had a really nice hour long chat which was funny and fun and i'd do it agian in a heartbeat :P

so then on friday - yesterday i went shopping with tram after she finished her meeting if i knew it'd fnished early i would have left an hour earlier hahahahahaha but oh well i got a scarf which i gaev to alex since he's going to the snow and it is a lovely scarf, a kitwear vest and v neck :D all for under a hundred dollars! and from myer/david jones. we had a nice hot chocolate at max brenner and sat and chatted for a while. met jennifer and ann at event ciniemas - jennifer ebing my sister. and we went to bavarian bier cafe. had THE BEST pork belly roast EVER absolutely amazing melt in your mouth and i combined the custard from tram's dessert with my apple sauce and it was like drinking ambrosia. so good.

so we went home and were surprised to find it was only about 8 pm when we left so got home about 9 30 ish and realised i SHOULD pack but didn't. checked my account and realised that my debit card has been hijacked and lost the rest of my money in that account about 400 dollars. but that was just a ditch in such an amazing holidays :D

oh i remember what i did one of those days. i was feeling bit down and emailing a couple of people cos i failed an exam :( but mum didn't really rebuke me which kinda of shows me how much more of a beautiful person she is and how encouraging she really is

I love you so much mum especially if you have managed to wade through 5000 words to get to this message!

Shopping

so today or rather right now ends my fun time between exams because i have to study!

so yesterday's exam i am ambivalent about i think i passed it but there were quite a few questions i knew but for some reason didn't write down and walked out of the exam not feeling great discussed it and yeah still didn't feel great hahahahaah

anyway i decided to take most of the day off and only did a bit of 2030 i think i shall try to make my notes today and see how far i can get in about 6 hours i think i can get half of it done before i leave the other half for...the time in between i mean i have 1 and a half days to do it which i think would be plenty to relearn half learn the other half well and do some past papers.

so! i woke up after having the best night of sleep in a long time like i had 8 hours then woke up and went back to sleep for another 2...i dreamt i woke at 3 pm lol but i actually woke at 10 30.

so aunty susan wanted to go have some pho which meant going to sunnybank but she wanted to withdraw money first. so we wnet to garden city shopping centre. once there i wandered around and noticed that roger david was having up to 70% off so i walked in and started looking at stuff i wanted to buy. i found 3 thigns which i thought were nice and tried them on finiding the jacket too small so i got a larger one. the shop assistants were so so nice in there gosh! i wouyld go there again when there is another sale :P the clothes i now realise are all kinda dark colours oh well the shirt i got is so so comfy and really nice :D jacket and vest we good as well :D the shop assistant told me that they were having a buy one get second half price on top of the already reduced price so i was getting about 85% off some items i was happy :D:D but i needed to get another item to make the most of this offer so i got a jumper/jacket which was quite warm :D can't wait to go back to sydney and buy lots of clothes hahahahahahahaahahaha. To double my happiness i paid with my debit card so it doesn't feel like i'm spending money :D love that theory hahahaha

so then we went to sunnybank where i we had pho and it was alright but i think its so much nicer at dinner for some reason the meat just becomes more tender and the soup more flavoursome. went asian grocery and aldi as well i didn't get anything from asian grocery but i did get some aldi chocolate chip cookies. i saw a free coffee stand which smelt quite nice promoting some nescafe stuff and also driving home there were quite a few policemen not sure why lots of motorbikes ;p

so now i am on to 2030!

The week that was and will be

So I haven’t really been posting much on blogger over the last week mainly because I haven’t felt like it and also cos mum’s called a few times hahaha so not much to report to her….and no uni. But the last week has actually been fraught with events.

To be perfectly honest I have not done as much work as I should have but that is not to say I have done no work. All my notes are ready to go however good or bad they are but at least I have something for every topic and every lecture and have prepared my essays and looked at past exam papers. Today I plan to do part some exam questions on radiology and radiography I found out the difference hahahahah radiography is taking the radiography and radiology is interpreting the radiograph…or the other way around I think its that way anyway hahahaha

So anyway because aunty susan was in the hospital for a week, she got home yesterday, I had to cook. So the first night I made myself some rice noodle soup then the next night had rice and rissoles, then the night after had some fried rice, then the night after we went out for uncle barrys birthday, the night after I had the leftovers from that day, the night after I had spaghetti and last night had steamed salmon and vegetables with aunty susan. The first couple of days I kinda forgot to drink enough water and eat enough fruit but then I remembered and behaved myself.

I’ve been waking up at 11 even though I’ve been trying to go to bed earlier. I did my washing yesterday and it surprisingly was a good day so it all dried quite nicely :D so I woke a bit earlier to do that. But today I was up at 8 which is not ideal as the exam starts at 8 so I think I’ll go to bed at 9pm because it just takes forever to warm my toes I’m gonna wear socks :D. Also I’m not gonna go on the computer at all for a couple of days cos its just too distracting seeing what gets posted on facebook, succumbing to sc and chatting ;p after posting this and printing a few things from the computer. Got to add to radiology notes before printing

So anyway I’ll just articulate yesterday a lot better. Well I woke up and did my washing cos it was quite a sunny day and then came upstairs and got a call from aunty susan saying she should be home today. So then I did a bit of work until about 4 and then aunty susan came home and I warmly welcomed her. Brought my clothes from the line looked at her mri scan and started on dinner.

Watched a bit of masterchef not much and then at about 10 o clock I got a really random phone call from someone who sounded like a friend…but everyone sounds the same on the phone when they only say 3 words hahahahaha. So after she hung up I called back and got no reply. But this call reminded me of a/prof sernia’s inspirational speech and prompted me to go to bed and then the next morning (today) get up and do some serious revision with complete work and no time for anything else. Anyway I texted ann and wondered if it was her. It wasn’t but we did a bit of texting before she went to bed cos she had work today.

After that I heard some noises and woke up looked outside my window didn’t see anything put on my glasses and saw a furry creature which I think is a possum in the tree eating leaves. How very strange but so cute hahahaha. Like I got my phone and flashed it with my camera. Instead of running away, it got into full view and kept eating. I just looked at it for 15 minutes before going to bed cos my feet were warm. This was at 1…took me about 2 hours to go to sleep. I think not sleeping at thje time I want is making me anxious so lame. A week of sleeping late really stuffs up 15 weeks of sleeping early hahahahaahaha but I am nowhere near as tired as I was during semester which can only be a good thing :D

This year has had questions which I had no idea how to answer I think that is the trouble with this year over last year. Last year you had an idea for every question and when the explanation came it was like OOOOOO I see but this year even after the explanation…for some questions I’m still completely lost but enough of this its approaching a thousand words which is longer than both my essays should be combined :D

so not gonna be ready...i just hope i can wake up :P and its the exam after that has me a tad bit worried.

cold snap

so last couple of days have been cold to the point where i have barely done any work for example. firs t day of holidays i did a whole topic of 2052 and started some 2022. the day after i did decent amount of work til tuesday where air con people came - 3 days ;p then on thursday i had basically 2 lectures left for 2052 and that took 2 days. i printed all the notes and omg quite a big stack i am so not gonna remember all that in 5 days geeeeez ;p

so today i wrote up 2 essays and my writing has deteriorated, cleaned up my table slept in my bed cos it was so cold and the air con makes me even more drowsy....

then went to visit aunty susan in hospital before going out to dinner.

less than a week now

well exams are just around the corner and i don't really know how i'm going in any of the courses hahahah they are just orientated that way :P

i'm pretty much done with my 2022 and 2052 notes. so after today i am guessing i can do much more practical things like look at past exam papers and make up scenarios, memorise essays etc.

one week means i am just over 2 weeks away from being able to sleep in and stay up late, not worry and just have fun :D:D

Air conditioning

so air con man came.

i watching him do everything and it was aquite a task omg...holes in walls that are spose to be there wiring, lots of pipes he spent about 8 hours at our place 8 whole hours and he said he left his place at 5 30 to get his van ready and omg such a big task ;p

didn't realise that hahaha

cost 500 all up and i couldn't study today cos so much noise.

got up at 7 30 hahahaha went back to sleep til 8 then got myself ready.

the guy wasn't what i expected i expected a buff dude but he was quite thin. chatted to them throughout the day so it was quite pleasant experience overall. tradies are alright ;p

so i have accumulated quite a few things which i plan to take back to sydney. today my loupes came in :D yay sick totally awesome :D but the thing is..it came in before my ten cate textbook so so lame.....

i have my e reader, my digital radio, my laptop :D yay! i can't really bring back my air con though lol

First day of holidays

today did washing went sunny bank for lunch and had the biggest plate of braised beef in the world omg. i barely finished it and that took about 40 minutes hahaha got a free taro milk tea as part of the meal deal :D went grocery shopping after before coming home and continuing with radiography notes.

had a laet dinner and some yummy chocolate cake with ice cream gosh soooo good warm cake with ice cream is so nice in winter :D

End of Semester :D

Hello everyone! so today marked the end of uni for a semester, feels like a whole year this sem has been pretty jam packed. Exams around the corner. in 3 weeks and a day i'll be done :D

aunty susan said uncle mark will drive me to the airport so i can go home after my exam instead of catching the train saving me 16 bucks :D

Not terribly much happening except for the pathway which i walk on is under construction which means my shoes will get wet and grassy...IF I HAD UNI MUHAHAHAHA oh and have to wake uip early to get to exams :P

slept a couple of hours today because I had a pretty bad night sleeping. i slept on clothes hahahahaha no wonder.

Oh i have about 3L of shampoo...kinda went on a splurge probably won't need to buy any for the rest of uni hahahaha :D amazing

FULL ON DAY

so today was really packed because it was pretty much 9 hours straight and i was actually quite attentive today :D meaning that a. there wasn't that much content just lots of hours or b. i had an amazing night of sleep or the lextures and stuff were super interesting. only a combination of all three could actually keep me awake. i skeipped lunch and had it for afternoon tea in the lab break instead.

yeah the kety perry channel has turned into a kylie minogue channel

ummm played some random skype games, did cardiovascular and respiratorynotes had to go back to add the prac and anatomical things to them :P up to renal but i think i'm gonna do the 2022 thing instead :P

so chuck another post on later :D yesterday and today i don't have to do my washing cos i did it on a beautiful thursday :D yesterday wasn't very exciting except uncle kim and aunty linda came over for dinner and then aunty lizzie came over for dessert, it was so yummy! but i had too much dinner so i only had one bowl lol

did a lot of heart stuff and respiration. looked at loupes and still can't decide...getting cheap ones are harder than getting expensiveones lol!

not only do i have to get the loupes but also the right glasses whcih can be a pain :(

borders has pretty much closed down which makes me think back and go awwww MAN i used like 300+dollars there which could have been 30 :P

so yesterday was good except for a few tinges which made me unable to blog...

so anyway i forgot to mention i passed my filling exam :D

anyway yesterday i went to the lecture and then had the workshop which ended about an hour early. its so dodgy cos we look at like 1 relly specific part of an entire thing which makes it quite difficult.

i then went to the bioscience library to meet up with ben helen and jenny and then we went for lunch wen to union and saw that they only had like 1 microwave for everyone omg.... then we walked to james foots whihc was where i started off at hahahaha

anyway we hung around there til the lecture and i had a nap! i never have naps its just we didn't do anything which meant i could nap ;p.

I didn't fall asleep in lecture cos i drank lots of water :D elaine was sitting in front and asked me to wake her up. i asked if i could throw my shoe at her and she was like 'yeah ok...wait no it'll be stinky' i was like what? so if my shoe wasn't stinky i can throw it? ;p and then she said kick the chair but specifically told me not to kick her jacket lol

so i decided to throw a scrunched piece of paper at her but didn't need to :d i refilled bottle and peed in the break and after the lecture :D

so after dinner i jumped on laptop and it died on me. so i need toshiba to fix it

i went on other laptop and it leeched all the net omg...so annoying so that's why i didn't blog yesterday...

today was alright, i mean morning lecture was cancelled so i wan't late today ;p

preclinic was kinda bludgy LOL was done in 20 minutes :D and then watched other people pretty much ;p at the end though talked to dr albert about loupes and he told me about options for people with glasses :d and offered to let me look through his ones. he said to buy a cheap pair to get through dental school. and to get good before you use them so you get really good with them :d and afterwards you buy expensive ones so you can claim it on tax :D

erm had lunch lab was kinda boring but i made 2 contour rims in 2.5 hours which is pretty good but the first one i had the wire at the wrong place or it'd have been amazing!

boring lecture in the arvo don't even remember much apart from a balanced bite ;p

recharged go card yesterday and my interenet today so that is 200 bucks! hahahahaha

2022 so fast!

so today morning lecture, we kinda found out what prof ngo was expecting for exams.

competency i stuff up but i did it again and passed. like in the allocated time that is :P

ummm lab found out ben went in an iron man competition...omg and he finished it. that is 30km run 4km swim and 120km bike. geeeeez

had an awesome end of lecture today as well :D:D

i think i have been overindulging ;p that and also the digital radio so there are lots of repeats which is the disadvantage of having 2x as many radio station :P

did 2052 and 2022 today well made a start on the both. found out the volum eof work i have omg....good thing i am starting now and not in 2 weeks time hahahaha i can see how cramming will lead to a fail :P

feeling good

so today i was feeling quite good all day cos yesterday i cleaned the room :D

the lecture was a bit later which was good cos i woke up and went back to sleep :P the second lecture was in an unfamiliar room and i would have been lost if i didn't follow the lecturer :P there were no tables making note taking quite difficult....

anyway the lecture ended early anyway and we went to physiol where i got a spring roll for 2 50 and prompted ben and helen to get one as well :D so we sat there with sonya elaine ben and helen departing for various times and coming back in the reverse order ;p

chatted to jenny for about an hour before bena nd helen came back with scratchies :D

won some money hehehehehe

ummmm after that went to lecture which was really really fast paced omg....got lost so many times ;p

then we spontaneously decided to see pirates of the carribean 4 randomly which was good!

after that went to dinner and then went home :D

gotta get back in the groove!

well i didn't post yesterday cos mum called for about an hour and then talked to aunty susan for about an hour hahahaha

umm this morning i got out of bed on time and all that shizz got to the lecture 7 minutes early! and knew ben and helen weren't coming. pity cos it was an amazing lecture! and lots of chocolates kept us awake, just the novelty of them being thrown around more than anything hahahaha but yeah it was interactive it was fun and there was quite a bit of information so :D:D

anyway after that we went to do some 2022 practise questions and research basically and that was alright hahaha. spent about an hour and a half before i decided to go home since it was rainy and yeah... but the lecture was cancelled as well ;p

erm....what else... not much :P

3 days not much happens hahaha

so i'll start from sunday since i haven't posted since then. On sunday i did a hell of a lot of study but by monday i don't really remember that much because i was just exposing myself to a lot of the normal antomy both histology and radiology. so i was looking through 2 or 3 textbooks trying to look at everything and then also the manuals, just looking at pictures.

That was pretty much my sunday i am gonna do a lot this thursday, vacuuming and cleaning and all that shizz make my room look neat again without so many textbooks sprwaled everywhere.

anyway on monday i enjoyed preclinic and lab was really slow cos i finished quite quickly so i was stuffing around hahahaha. anyway during that break i talked to a few people and looked at a few more things and got some of the theory behind what i've been looking at :D so i looked at pemphigus pemphigoid scc and learnt the differences histologically.

the lecture was quite alright but it was so funny when prof ngo came and basically told us his part of the exam and said he expected a really high quality work :D half an hour is quite a while when you know the question heheheheh. so that was awesome :D

then today was the test, i ddin't get a sleepin but it didn't matter the test was very testing and we were all tested....gosh it was so different from what i expected :(

twas bad

lots of air con people ahve been calling will make a decision later. they all sound legit hahahaha but expensive!

so i realxed for the rest of the day :D

got my digital radio and it is filling my room with noise now :d i'm getting acquainted with music after about a year and a half of pretty much no music. got it 99, 40 dollars less :D its so cool like it has the name of the song on the screen which is soething which i always want to know and they rarely say it so i'm quite happy about that :D:D. we went shopping everywhere and aunty susan spent a while in wombat cos there was a 50% off everything and 70% further reduction on some items :D

looked at a few more jumpers and they were pretty plain i want an awesome jumper so will probably buy one from the internet or just wait for sales in end of financial year :D:D

Yesterday I ate a kangaroo...

sausage. so it was the first ime i had kangaroo and it was 2 bucks for a sausage sizzle. it was alright :P before that though a few things happened. the lecture ended early! yay! 20 minutes. sonya and elaine decided to go to lab and make a contour rim. jenny, helen ben and i went to group room and did some work, it made me realise how little i knew :P i mean i've looked at a lot of picture but can't really describe them in the detail that they could.... watched a uselesss youtube video hahahaha

anyway we went for lunch and then helen bought ice cream in a box for 4 40 and i got 2 scoops of gelato for 4 bucks :P it was a bit icy though guess people don't buy gelato in winter :P. helen got a scratchie and won 6 bucks so she profitted 2 bucks :P

did the CAL. elaine and chloe fell asleep hahahaha. did the quiz and got confused for the last question oh well ;p

didn't really do much else yesterday. called anthony and got some tips :P
