Exam planning

so exams are just around the corner as mum says -i disagree but i probably shouldn't say that :P- and so I have started to get into the rhythm, playing less games and formulating a timetable and everything i need to study for and chem has by far the most which i need to do which is a real bummer. Basically cos i don't really see the links between the topic but in the dent subjects i can see how they are all linked...that they are related to the mouth hahaha or the practice or diagnosis or whatever.

So anyway i made a little booklet saying what subject i will do each day and what topics i am gonna cover in that time :D so i started today and looked back on module one for chem and it seems quite easy :D i plan to do chem tomorrow as well, see how many questions i can do, i've done 2 pass sheets today but i had to look at notes and stuff, eventually i'll do the textbook questions which simply do not have answers which seems sort of counter productive but oh well.

tuesday should be alright, going to go get a lot of phone and mobile broadband credit....hope i have enough money lol.

end of uni for the year

except final exams of course hahaha.

so there is 10 days to the first exam....i want to do something otherwise i will be ridiculously bored forever!

anyway today i had a 3 hours lab session and then it was the end of uni for the year :D so we did some special trays and bleaching trays and they are what you call awesome :P the vacuum thing is so cool hahahaha and you have to get the right amount of droopiness, alan showed us how droopy it COULD get and it was like a noodle bowl except it wouldn't stand up :P i got 2 pieces of plastic which i promptly threw away :D

saw ben and helen but i just went home cos i left lunch in the fridge :P

got a headache and tried to sleep it off, that failed, so i had a shower and felt a lot better :D

doing some 1030 but i don't really see the point :P its on 15th...might have to negotiate through all the chem first lol

oral B gave me free stuff

so today we got some free stuff :D like an electric toothbrush retailing at $100 OMG OMG OMG hahaha

ummm the person was a lot more product selling though and got our names and emails, unlike colgate...i think i like colgate better lol

umm so today i just stuffed around until about 1 20 and went for the bus. decided i didn't want to wait 8 minutes so i walked to greenslopes and JUST missed the 111 which meant i had to wait more and walk more and it was horrible.

anyway i recharged my go card. went to dental school and there was a degree of stress in the air, from chem and viva, both of whcih i've done muhahahahaha. got 10/13 for chem, good enough :D

so we were in the common room and it began to start absolutely pouring omg...30mm in 10 minutes i heard on the weather, that is insane eh?

so we played some games in lecture and carol also talked about research.

not much happened today, generally not much happens near the end of semester

last workshop

so today was pretty cool cos we didn't have the 8am start which meant i went to uni at 11 muhahaha and tomorrow when i normally go at 11, i'll be able to go at 3 :D super break yes!

ummm so we compared chem answers today and i dunno it got really really confusing, i have to redo 3 of them so i know how to get to the answer :P everyone will be studying for the viva tomorrow so i'll probably pop in around lunch time, leave at about 11 30 or something.

ummmm last work shop was pretty good i thought, clinical picture of diseases and asking us to diagnose, gosh jenny is good at doing that hahaha

ummmm not much else today im afraid :P

VIVA

so today i had to wake up early to get to an 8am lecture. i ironed my shirt because i noticed it had quite a few crinkles on it and that would leave a bad impression. so i ironed my shirt and soon left the house. i went to the lecture and i am so glad i went, it was basically a guide to what the exam is gonna be like so hopefully i will do extremely well :D maybe even get a distinction, probably a credit though

so then i went to the library to look at some stuff for the viva today, did some group discussion before falling into group hysteria, i think i did everything carol said not to do OH WELL. so i went with my tie on and the time passed so incredibly quickly seriously it was mind boggling.

ummmm went to lab and it was an awesome lab lesson, lots of laughing hehehehehe :D

ummm went home and doing chem now yay.

I can still have fun without Ben, Helen, Jenny, Sonya and Elaine :D

I say this because none of them decided to stay after chem., Sonya came to chem. Though so kudos to her :D

Anyway today chem. Was alright, no new formulas so I spose they didn’t really need to go to chem. Anyway after chem, I went to do some viva study and since Brisbane jenny, silvia, terry, ho jay and shiromani were going to the tute – I go to a different day- I went and studied some ORAL 1030, that was interesting especially because I looked at doctor ford’s lecture with renewed interest and prof walsh’s one with renewed interest as well, when you learn more I guess you appreciate it more :D

So afterwards we did a lot of discussion before terry, ho jay and shiromani left then we did a bit more before I came up with a scenario for silvia and one for jenny

Basically for silvia it was a man came into the dental surgery, what do you do first. During the oral examination, you notice that he has lots of fillings, what do you do. Once the caries assessment was performed, it is noted that there is very low salivary flow and low pH. This explains the many fillings which are GIC, why was GIC chosen? The parient’s records show that topical fluoride agents have been used including neutrofluor 5000, tooth mousse and a fluoride mouthwash. Since these have failed what alternative can you propose?

For Jenny it was much easier I think. Firstly a person with no medical history, a very old dental history and a very vague social history rocks up. He doesn’t want to disclose much more information but has a government letter which entitles him to 4650 dollars worth of dental care. He tells you he is on no medication and on examination, his teeth look ridiculously eroded and full of abrasive marks. What would you do next? The caries risk assessment yields no clues, high saliva flow, quality saliva with good buffering capacity and overall the teeth should not be eroded, what is the next thing you do. On asking about his diet and performing a diet analysis, you find out that his intake of acidic food and drinks is through the roof, which explains the erosion, what would you tell him in order to change his ways. On further inspection, the abrasion on his teeth look strangely like toothbrush abrasion, you ask him what toothbrush he uses and explain to him why using a hard toothbrush with whitening toothpaste is not a good choice.

I know its longer but it was more staright forward :D they made one for me, a long time smoker comes and wants the stains on his teeth cleaned off. He has been coming for a number of years regularly and has ignored your professional advice but wants his teeth cleaned as he has recently found a girlfriend. So what are the options for him? Once the prophylaxis is done, the stains have not been removed, on further inspection, you discover that the stains are intrinsic. What could this possibly be and is there any way to resolve the issue?

So those were the three scenarios we had, the viva probably won’t have scenarios which are that long but oh well, it covered quite a bit.

So after that I went to the chemist to get some more facial clenser solution and they gave me FREE sun protection cream which I promptly gave to auntie susan cos it is absolutely useless for me hahahaha. Got some salsa so we can have burritos on Wednesday :D:D

oops didn't post yesterday

well i was on blogger and then saw ms's blog and went on a blogging run and read everyone's yesterday and forgot to post :P

well 1030 came out - mum the one i failed a test in- and i'm sitting on a credit at the moment, 65.2% wooo hahahah i aced the first two :P

ummm what else, i have begun reading the clinical thing for dental hygienist and it is sort of useful but i think i should look at the lecture notes in more detail now and take some notes before tuesday. I'm gonna go to chem lecture tomorrow and probably be the only one there, hopefully someone will come and we can practise viva questions for the whole day, that would be awesome.

yesterday went garden city and looked at LCD and LED TV's at harvey norman and bought some ice cream and fruit and mum called and had a long chat with aunty susan

this morning auntie lizzie came over and so did auntie li mai. they are having a chat to auntie susan.

nice day today and yesterday, i've done my washing yay!

Rushing in the morning to catch the bus that was full

So today was an ok day i suppose

started off in the morning with me missing my bus cos it was full - darn bus that hasn't happened in a while so i thought i was gonna be late. That was until i got out of the bus stop and saw jovena across the road and then ej, jenny and silvia - i THINK behind her. So then we went to the dent school and saw lily there so i was like WOW so many people are late, must be because alan said that this was optional hahaha

so there was an intermission where i made a cast of a coin and tried to make one of a note but it is too hard to do booooo ended up with a block and a coin mold hahaha. Anyway the fumes in the room were quite strong so i went out asap and went to library to learn about halitosis.

after that i went and talked to imran and we started doing some revision together, something which would be similar to the viva voce. Anyway whilst we were doing that helen ben sonya and jenny came down so then i called michelle, since she told me she was shopping at adelaide street.

I didn't go cos i had to have lunch, was studying and ben helen, sonya and jenny didn't want to go. sonya, ben helen and elaine ended up going later to a mart and rebel to get free stuff so i just kept getting questioned by imran :D

the debridement part of the day was sore, hurt my arm muscle i think in any case it hurts now boo. it is such a pain, tiny bits are left behind which is a real real real pain omg...prophy makes it hard to see if you got rid of it and by the time you blow air and water on it and think its gone cos the water sort of makes this layer where you can't see it, you think its ok take it out and the marks are still there omg...

jumped on the same bus as lily and jumped off at buranda to change buses (it came like in 20 seconds, i literally sat down and there it was) and then got home :D apparently Dr Ian Meyers was on the radio this morning as auntie susan tells me :P

one last thing, auntie susan baked the best macadamia biscuits ever. can't wait to eat them all :D:D

so today I got lots of free toothpaste :D

anyway lets look at the first part of the day. I woke up at the ripe time of 10 15 and needed to be at uni at 11. don't worry i wasn't late, despite quite an eventful morning :D

so i woke up and saw the door unlocked, i assumed aunty susan was downstairs, she wasn't but i didn't realise this til later. I had breakfast, which was reheated congee - YUM i made it so it wasn't too hot so i could eat it lightning speed :D

i realised i hasn't printed out today's 1011 lecture so i printed that out, but the printer didn't want to work so i fiddled around with it before chucking in a new ink cartridge and then it worked fine :D so that took a bit of time hahaha

by the time i left it was about 10 35 but i noticed that aunty susan wasn't downstairs so i ran up closed the windows and locked the door to be safe and hoped aunty susan remembered her keys haha

turns out she went for a blood test and came home at 1045 leaving at 10 so yeah, she had to wait half an hour so she thought she would have been back before i left :P

anyway i went to chem and on the bus saw gilbert so we chatted and laughed at how we were gonna be like a minute late to chem hahaha

chem was semi interesting, not really wow but a new formula was introduced so i think i shall have to use it :D

went to the city and terry, amos, jenny shiromani and silvia were on it. I spent the whole time trying to work out how to remember shiromani's name. I was like shir(like shirley) O MAN (like you're really surprised by something) and then i. that's how i remembered it hahahaha

so after the bus ride, jenny and I met up with ben and helen at super A mart and i was telling jenny what helen was saying to her mum and jenny said 'you shouldn't listen in on other people's conversation' i kept telling her what was going on :P

so after that we went to woolies so i could recharge my phone. i bought paper which i later regretted and lipton ice tea which i sort of regret.

i had to lug around the paper the whole time and i drank so much lipton ice tea i felt funny, but light headed actually hahahahaha

oh we went to a place and found out that the materials we are using in dent is really expensive like just sheets of wax, a box was like 20 bucks omg..and since this is dental wax it is much much more expensive hahahaha, just cos it is dental :P

so then we went to look at the city cycle program and it is chokingly expensive, 11 buck subscription, 330 guarantee, and first half hour free but up to an hour 2 bucks and then like up to 88 bucks for a day - basically if you bring it home that is 88 bucks hahahahaha

i MIGHT go for a joy ride in roma street parklands one day though hahahah expensive joy ride :P

anyway viva lecture was good, gave me direction to study for :D and the colgate person gave lots of goodies, toothpaste and a toothbrush, 8 varieties :D:D i gave everything to aunty susan except 2 colgate total tubed :D now i have like 5 tubes of toothpaste :D.

so today was an early start, 8am except walsh decided not to show up SO we mucked around in the room, playing with the microphone, playing with the blackboard etc :D that was funny cos we drew a tooth and then didn't rub it out hahahahaha the thing was everyone said the anatomy was wrong...omg too much dent :P

then went to chem lecture and tute before i met up with michelle cos she didn't know her way around so we could find a spot to have lunch before setting up julie's birthday stuff. Ben and Helen came with melted ice cream whcih i ate a lot of :D yuuuum and had cake and cookies and biscuits, fruit and roll. all over like 3 hours :P

went to workshop which was boooooring aside from the fact that we learnt a bit about our lecturers, dr march got pretty much the highest marks, basically need a GPA of 6.55 so basically half high half distinction average to even be considered for a medal. Getting that in dent is absurd, esp in honours program... :P

Maxibon!!

well if you've been keeping track of the chat box, helen wrote that i didn't dream it, that's cos yesterday i was unsure if there were maxibons for 4 bucks, like a box from woolies and i wasn't dreaming, i did see it :D

so anyway onto my day

first i started with debridement, after learning how to clean teeth with a prophy cup this was next. we had put some stuff on the teeth and it had hardened and then we proceeded to use scalers to get rid of it all :P so finished quite early about half an hour early, could have dinished maybe 45 minutes early but i took my time hahahaha

went to lunch and there was no one there :O i thought it was cos i was early so i waited. 12 15 still no one i went to common room to see if they were there and found out that they had gone and bought maxibon without me :O noooooo :P

ummm anyway michelle texted me (and called helen who neglected to pick up) and crashed dental school, she was unhappy that ben helen jenny and sonya didn't want to go meet 'halfway' at hungry jacks but nevertheless she went to dental school. i don't exactly know what happened cos i left pretty much 10 minutes after she arrived to go do my michigan splint exam

gosh that was a terrible exam...they asked quite obscure things. most people by what i gather got 6...i got a crappy 4 :( i think its cos there were no part marks so you got it right or wrong booo

anyway after that, i went to preclinic cos i had arrived a bit late so i had forgotten to sign in but apparently i had a signature there so oh well

then i suggested to sylvia, brisbane jenny and jovena to get maxibons...brisbane jenny and jovena hadn't had it before but they liked it all the same :D:D so i did get my ice cream in the end hahahahaha

ummm just missed the bus but that's alright, came home before auntie susan did hahahaha

apparently its gonna be warmer on thursday so i spose that is something to look forward to.

also i was told my viva voce is on tuesday...damn :P

last chem prac

yay last chem prac :D

well this morning i planned to go up the road and get a hair cut, that didn't end up happeneing and i ended up spending about twice as much as i though i would hahahahaha

well on friday alan said i needed a hair cut and i planned to go today but i realised there was no time so instead i went to the uni hair salon and got a hair cut there. that took about half an hour omg so long lol cost 22 bucks :O oh well that's how much i've paid for all the hair cuts i've had in my life :D:D

so we had chem and it was an alright lecture don't really remember much now, pretty focussed on michigan splint...ask me anything :P I actually don't know the mechanism so maybe i have to do some further reading there

so anyway i got my hair cut and went to lay down on grass...stupid ants...we have to find somewhere without ant and nice grass, challenge!

got dollar sausage sizzle, will get dollar ice cream tomorrow :D well $4 for 4 maxibons yuuum

so anyway there was a highlight to the day, i randomly screamed when helen came up behind me :P like i saw her coming, turned around before she could boo me and screamed lol :P sorry helen

umm made some bouncy stuff in chem today, pretty much waste of time :P last chem prac got 18.5 out of 20 yesssss

in exchange i gave tutor all 5's and nice comments and stuff hahaha

umm passed the pk thomas, hahaha i'm barely passing a lot eh? perhaps these pracs i should get acredit from now on and then barely pass theory? how's that sound mum? :P

learnt some michigan splint today and made a shorted set of notes after looking at it again :P

Grand Uncles bday

so today woke up, awesome day, very sunny and calm but it wasn't warm :(

so anyway mum suggested i get an airconditioner cos it gets hot in summer - and she also suggested i stay in qld for summer - AS IF what would I do? I WOULD BE SO BORED, she wants me to do a summer course, as if...

so anyway, last night or rather 12 20am this morning i was reading the uq dental annual report or something and found that uq has like 100 staff....100!!!!! just for dent that's like one staff per 3 people or something insane eh?

ummm the day passed with me doing some work and booking a flight to sydney for auntie susan and uncle mark. they're coming on the 4th leaving brisbane at 9 and going back at 4 on the 15th of january

did some ironing today, had to rush 2 shirts at the end cos we had to leave at 5 30 in order to get to the place on time.

well the birthday dinner was my first hundred dollar meal and gosh there was a lot of food omg...
had abalone, lobster, some expensive fish rainbow coral or something, some jellyfish salad with like 6 types of meat in it and very nice soup, i was full by about 2/3 way hahahahaha

mum called grand uncle to wish him happy birthday. like 2 minutes after he called there was this lion dance troupe that did this amazing lion dance omg, so close it was awesome :D:D

met lots of old people hahahahaha

got home at like 10 15 and checked the chem thing and it isn't working so SIGH. oh well got heaps of time to do it :D

WINDY DAY

today was really really windy :O i woke up at 8 30 and though bleh back to sleep and woke up again at 10 and had breakfast :P

it was windy up til about 11 and then i didn't notice it anymore, victor challenged me to starcraft and i lost abysmally boooooo

looked at the chem quiz and there are too many i can't do so i am a tad demotivated-_- michigan splint it is then, study. 5 questions 10% omg... sort of worse than 1050 hahaha

ummmmmmmmmmm went for a walk around to see what shops are around me and found what i was looking for, a hair dresser, alan said i needed a hair cut haha

felt tired at 6 to 8 and now i'm alright i think, will sleep soon anyway and tomorrow i shall work, learn michigan splint and perhaps do some revision. I looked at the chem external assessment and have no idea what to do hahaha

will work it out or ask someone later

Too many early marks

well i feel as though we are having too many early marks and for some of us skipping lectures is like having an early mark :P

so today we had 2 pracs and both of them finished at least half an hour early, probably could have leftt and hour or so early but i just went slow and did the required task slowly instead actually talking to the tutors is quite helpful as well

i learn how to prophy properly hahahaha instead of just shoving it all around the buccal and palatal side, you'rer spose to put it on the cervical third and then move it to the mesial and distal, adapting the cup to the tooth and cleaning the interproximal area.

i finished 2 special trays in lab today, one took about halfl an hour the other about 2 and a bit hours including demos and stuff.

ummm come to think about it lots of early marks, couple lectures cancelled like 1011, half of 1050, missed chem and no 1030 lectures hahahaha and early marks cos of exams and what not :D

well next week is gonna be different. 3 assessments, chem quiz, chem external assessment...i think that is next week anyway i'll do it next week and finally the michigan splint quiz gahhhh

the week after is viva and then its stuvac and then exams and i shall be home hehehehe wooo

anyway had mango and ice cream for dessert and then looked at photos from like many years ago from aunty susan's wedding and places she's been etc

that was fun :D

An unusual thursday

so today was unusual...i brought my washing in and i am gonna dry it in the air whenever i can from now on hahahaha

so i went to the tb clinic and they saw my raised bump, measured it before sending me to get a chest x ray

it turned out fine, i went to the busway and caught a bus to study some chem!

yeahhhhhh chemmmmmm wooooo yeah yeah

so only jenny showed up and i was told that there was no lecture today and also that oral b wasn't gonna come, shame

so then i went to eat lunch and then went home.

ben called like 2 hours later and he was like where are you? me - no oral b you didn't see the announcement? he had wasted a day hahahahaha

i saw and heard something today

i saw a snake while i was walking home and i heard something someone said on the bus i just don't remember what :P

Long day

well today was a long day hahahaha

so i woke up at 7 and though i still got a few minutes - i didn't :P so i did everything in hyperspeed and was early to the bus stop yay it also helps that there are buses every 3 minutes at the local bus stop at 7 30 :D

so i got to class early and jenny was already there :O more than 12 minutes early! anyway it wasn't long before she looked really tired hahahahaha

lecture was booooring...should have made more notes but he was just reading off the lecture notes so yeah....

anyway after that i decided to put the idea forward that we go to chem, an extra one that i missed on monday. ben helen and sonya were in a lazy mood and thus stayed in the lecture theatre and got some popcorn chicken whilst elaine jenny and I diligently sat throguh a chem lecture. half of that lecture was repeated in the lecture right after which was the right lecture we were spose to go, this led to jenny half dosing off the whole time and strangely enough ben also dosing off...i don't see why he was dosing off, must be cos he had 5 hours of sleep :P

so after that we went to chem tute, hour no.3 of chem wooooo

4 hours straight of stuff so it came to be that we didn't do much work, jenny was dosing, sonya was asking a question from her and ben's quiz, helen was robbing me and ben was jumping between robbing me and listening to the explanation to his quiz answer. I don't know what elaine was doing. I remember she was writing some korean in the chem lecture though hahahaha

so after that the impossible game was attempted and benson showed everyone how it is done and he pwned it so hard ben's head exploded so there was bits of ben's head everywhere. we put it back together but he'll never be the same, somewhat a zombie state :P
speaking of zombies we did talk about horror movies for a while hahahah that was fun ummmmmm whaddelse...

oh the workshop. the workshop was alright cos she asked our group questions and we hadn't been doing work so had no idea hahahahahaha she was disappointed that no one brought textbook :P disappointment turned into a speech to us why its important to bring textbooks....heavy textbooks that have to do with the subject :P

so i went home after that and i don't know i spose i'll do some work now hahahahaha

Washing done

so today despite the rain i did my washing adn hung it under the house :P i had to wake up at 8 to do that hahahahah i wasn't late though which is always a plus:D

so i went to clinic and guess what mum, i passed drilling this time YEAHHHHHH

so i don't have to come back on december to do it :d yay

anyway we did some special trays and i think it was quite fun, as usual i ran out of time for lunch and so came a little late :P i ate most of my lunch but i think i talk too much :P

ummmm bought an umbrella - a green one :D

bought some shoes because rivers was selling them for 25 bucks, cheaper than lowes and these look better and i think they're more comfy :D

ummmm bus was ridiculously late by that i meant it came at the same time the next bus came, great i don't need 2 buses -_-

oh there was this guy on the bus who was bragging about doing Maths A - i was in nsw fram of mind and was quite impressed at first...until realised that was the equivalent of 2unit maths lol

hmmmm what else? oh alex pwned me in sc...not playing against him until i get back to sydney hahahaha

Post no. 200

I know this should have been yesterday but today was soooo much mroe interesting than yesterday, all that happened yesterday was that i stayed home how boring hey?

anyway today i woke up at 8 30 with the intention of going to the chemistry lecture, due to the weather i decided against it :D. It was pouring at that time, i left the house an hour later and caught an unfamiliar bus going to an unfamiliar place to have an unfamiliar procedure done. Well i spose i've seen it before but i haven't had it done on me :O

so i caught the 113 bus which is about a minute walk for me and then i went to somewhere called PA hospital and i walked along cornwall street for a full5 minutes and went to the chest clinic or something. I went in and they had me booked in so i waited about 5 minutes. I saw these 2 people complaining they had to wait for an hour and i was like omg do i have to wait an hour....then i got called hahahahaha

the person was really nice and it was strange to see them stick a needle in me and inject something and seeing the injection puff up your skin. all that's left now is some subcutaneous haemotoma, not painful at all.

afterwards, the lady asked if i wanted to participate in a clniical trial - MY FIRST CLINICAL TRIAL WOOOOO

basically they wanted to test out a new technique whether a blood test can test for the antibodies instead of the mantoux exam. So i agreed and was sent to pathology. I went to PA Hospital and though this is the first time i've been to a hospital since i was born, which is untrue because i forgot i went to hospital in yr 8 or yr 7 for the meningicoccal vaccine.

so i was a little lost and wandered around for a while before finding the place after 15 minutes and then went to wait for another 15 minutes where i watched news and found out that most fo north brisbane is flooded out :O

so i got blood taken out of me for the second time in a week and the blood sort of spurted out hahahah that was funny and unexpected, they probably took like 10 mL total.

then i decided to see how far buranda bus station was from PA hospital, it was maybe a 10 minute walk, i should have taken another way but i thought i was gonna catch another bus...whcih turned out i had just missed...so i made the journey to buranda.

at buranda, i waited like 2 minutes before catching a bus to ekibin...on the bus i was a bit frazzled and forgot my umbrella on the bus......noooooooooooooooooooooooooo there goes $5 :O i just bought it on tuesday as well...

so anyway i went home and looked at some more 1011 and 1030 and somehow 1050 came into it and sonya told me about the 1020 quiz that has come out. so i did everything today...i have to actually figure out what happened in today's lecture :P

booked my flight, its at

18th of November, planning to go dreamworld on 17th and then go home :D it will be a flight at 2 pm and get to sydney at 4 30! sounds like a plan....hope virgin blue doesn't have cancellations that would be crapppppyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

yeah so i did quite a bit in celebration of my 200th post!

oh also for lunch i had the roll aunty susan made but i chucked in tomato sauce and mustard sauce YUMMMMMMMMMMMMMM it goes with chicken!

dreary day saturday

today was a dreary day and i caught up on sleep :d had lots of sleep :D woke at 11 hahahahah

ummmmm i think i wasted today hehehehe read some stuff on caries, gonna read up on michigan splint and special tray today

aunty linda came over for dinner and she apparently made a 2 hours call while in hong kong to someone in australia and she didn't mean to call them at all it was an accident :O big bill coming up

ummmmmza what else nothing really oh not sure which flight to catch now hahahahahahaha

the study starts soon

YEAH

now that this stressful week is over, I can do my own study which is textbook and not related to elcture notes so i can get a better grasp on things....all this is assuming that I pass all the courses of course

so anyway onto my day

i woke up on time and left the house on time, actually woke at like 5 30 before going back to bed and waking at 8 30

ummm the pk thomas came together quite nicely, the filling was alright i think my amalgam looks funny though :O

submitted TAA, submitted 1050 yay

ummmm not much else except i realised today i've used up the 30 dollars i recharged 2 weeks ago already hahahaha ooooops

So busy!

well i didn't blog yesterday cos i was quite busy with chem and TAA and oh gosh 1050 as well hahahaha

so i submitted chem yesterday got 10/12 for quiz and i am done with the internal reflection part. I have 2 questions left for TAA personal reflection and for the group reflection, no one is looking at what i wrote hahahaha so yeah i think the draft will become the final copy :P

1050 is coming together sort of, i spose it is anyway

so onto today!

I woke up at 6 30 and went back to bed. woke up at 9 15 and went to pick up my awesome glasses, much lighter and thinner than my other ones but stronger and better in every way hehehehehe of course i'm gonna say that!

so i was at optometrist for a while as he explained so many things like how to put on and take off glasses, how to clean it, special stuff about all thihs random stuff that i don't even think about, the adjeustment took a while and i noticed that the right side is quite a bit more bent that my left side for the nosepiece thing....oh gosh i havea funny shaped nose

also noticed that i have attrition on my 33 but not my 43 hahahahahaha wooo crowding! :P

ummm anyway went to uni and the lecture i thought was quite interesting, jenny said that she'd done most of it in high school already though - booo, ben helen sonya and elaine didn't bother coming hahahaha

after that we went to city straight away and had lunch and then went to donate bloooooood

it was funny cos they gave a sheet that asked you to say what you wanted to eat after :P

ummm interview was easy, i weighed 70kg on the dot, with shoes and filled with water of course :P

ummmm jenny couldn't give blood cos her haemoglobin was too low, the sampled her blood 5 times oh gosh

ummm my blood is too pro and clotted while the person stopped the blood machine so she could put some stickers on hahahaha she only got 150 ml from me :P

so after that we went to dent school and annoyed sonya :P she was trying to do 1050 hehehehehehe

looked at my exam and was like oh, oh well, bye bye :P

went to lecture and then carol was like 'average was around 50%' for the drilling - me :OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

so after lecture got home and saw the place the needle got stuck in swelling hahahahaha cos i took off the bandage early :P

ummm doing 1050 gonna also finish TAA tonight, and read up on some stuff for tomorrow yay

Jenny's bday

So today started out pretty normally but i forgot i had to be early so i was on time....i should have been early oh well i still finished on time but it was so rushed, 2 cavity preps in an hour in models oh gosh...

i suppose this is how they really judge how good you are at drilling. I think i did ok...i think its passable but we shall see...

so anyway I brought Jenny's present today and it was difficult shoving everything in the locker but i got there in the end :D and the important thing is that she liked all the stuff we got her :D

and then sonya spent the rest of the time playing the impossible game lol

so today i did like nothing for my PK Thomas model lol, 2 hours of nothing...great :D

ummmmmm had ice cream, pizza and sticky date pudding

got a new umbrella cos my other one is simply broken

it is getting quite warm in brisbane now

Well midsem break is over which means it time for uni!

so in the morning i met irene and signed her passport thing again cos her photo wasn't good enough last time. after that i went to the chem lecture and i laugh at you people who think lectopia is gonna help for this one muhahahaha - that's you elaine :P

so after the lecture jenny and i compared answers with sonya's ones as well :D

when i needed to go to the loo, i found that the 3 sets of toilets were blocked off by construction...NOT COOL so i walked much more than i had to :P

so tomorrow is gonna be intense with an hour to prepare 2 cavities...i have to do it yes i do! so i think that i shall have an early night tonight and go to bed

so today i woke up early in case uncle mark wanted me to take my clothes off the line downstairs, he didn't but i had breakfast and then got ready to go to the city. One thing i don't like about sundays is the lack of public transport...the bus came every hour and the other bus stop it came every 15 minutes. so i just missed the one where one came every hour so i had to walk to greenslopes busway LAME. So anyway I got the queen street bus stop and before ben picked up his phone, i saw him so hung up.

the thing with shopping with another guy and buying a present for a girl is that you go to all these girl shops like diva and there is no seemingly obvious reason why you're there so the shop assistant either asks very politely if they can help you or sort of pretend not to see you :P thankfully the second one didn't happen too often lol

we found all these shops I didn't know exised. there are shops that sell tea. that's right SHOPSSSSSSS more than one! all they sell is tea and tea accessories, you would be surprised how many accessories an avid tea drinker can use, a 'perfect' tea scoop, strainer, tea jug, actualy tea leave, cups pots, spoons plates etc etc. the tea we tried was ok but i'm sure to some avid tea drinker it is the best tea in its range or something hahaahah

we also went to woolies and got some free curry rice, for free like they were pushing us to eat it lol, we didn't even buy anything from woolworths :P

well we were gonna get a cake but now we're not but sonya wants to with the 3 bucks we have left lol, maybe getting those itunes vouchers wasn't such a flash idea :P

ummm went to like 4 jewellery shops and looked into about a dozen- they don't open on sundays :P. we ended up buying a necklace from prouds and some earrings from some random shops i don't remember the name of :P

we went to dusk and bought a very nice looking candle holder that looked like a wine glass, have fun jenny :P

ummm bought a very awesome dolphin and an awesome bear...which i have to slightly modify :P

went to australian geographic and got a couple of cool things :D a tree and a maze that sounds crap but i assure you it will be awesome.

no cake cos we couldn't decide and also she was getting a cake so that is how we spent our money :D hope i get paid back lol

so then afterwards something that never happened before happened. the busdriver stopped the bus and called the police...i got off and then like a minute later, the bus drove off loooool. so i caught another bus and went to the annerley bakery and got a pie, gosh i like that place's pies :D went home dropped presents, grabbed the card and headed to uq. at uq i went to IH and ben wasn't sleeping lol so i hung around for too long and didn't get my free bus travel hahahaha, yeah after ben signed it i went to grace so sonya could sign it and their door is locked for weekends :P annabel should sign it later tonight and then helen and elaine will sign it tomorrow. sounds like a plan

so i was up and about for about 8 hours and now i'm gonna clean my room from all the mess this week. yes. had some delicious sticky date pudding with caramel sauce and ice cream for dessert *salivate :D

GUESS what? MORE shopping :D

so today we went to auntie christine's house and she has so many tropical fruits omggggg...she has this massive jackfruit tree and massive jackfruits! and guava and mango and some chocolate plant and some dragonfruit and lychee, logan, lots and lots anyway that was fun going to her place :D

BUT before that i had to do my washing. it was raining so i hung it under the house, takes so much longer to dry its not funny...

in fact its still hanging there lol

so anyway after going to aunty christine's place we went to hyperdome and it was so jam packed there were like spaces for 2000 cars or something and all the good ones were taken -_-

anyway we went for lunch at sizzler which was really really good today for some reason, i think its cos they had so many people like we came in and the line was to the door, when we left an hour and a half later the line was to the door. yeah but the food was goooood

so thena fterwards we went woolies, ntohing much except fruit is expensive atm for some reason

after that aunty susan got stuck in a clothes shop for a while :P

then we passed man to man and i bought some clothes cos i thought it was cheap - since it was from man to man but the receipt printing machine was broken so i got some random peice of paper for a reciept, i bought pants and shirt, very light lime green and a size 30 pants which fits but if i put on weight it won't lol, nice clothes :D over 50% off both of them

then we went home i haven't had dinner cos i have not felt hungry at all...sizzler oh wait i had a banana for dinner :D

shopping and groupwork

So today i woke up extra early - 730 and this was because i woke up early the previous 2 days. had a healthy banana and cheese sandwich before jumping on the computer and testing a couple of things.

I wanted to get out of the house because i had barely gotten out of the house fr the past couple of days so when i got a text from michelle saying she's be at indooroopilly in half an hour i thought awesome :D

so i didn't really know how to get there but luckily i'd been once before so i caught a bus to uq, walked across campus caught another bus and it went right outside indro shopping centre. I had to ask the bus driver because i was the first one on the bus and it was scheduled to leave in a minute hahahaha so i caught the 432 and it stopped right outside the shopping centre :D

saw michelle half limping to where we decided to meet up, turns out she was running late hahahaha and happened to get there when she did about 3 minutes or so after i did

so that was the first time i had been inside indro, we went to look for an alien mask for her but she ended up just deciding to make her own lol. went woolies and got some dessert for me, reminded me of eating 'ga ye' which is some egg thing that is yummy :P

the chips from oporto were hot and i THINK i burn my tongue which is so not cool its hot :P

got some ice cream from trampoline because michelle said it was good AND IT WAS :D i got the guy to make it for me hehehe that was a bit amusing :D

then i went to the bioscience library and there i decided to do some work, did a bit of calling around and emailing before we were all ready, then we decided what to do before starting, helen was a bit annoyed-maybe more than a bit and i was sorta preoccupied but i'll finish it tonight...gosh i plan to do a lot tonight
