Going camping soon, hope its fun :D gonna get a lot of exercise :D

Has the beginning of the day stuck with you the whole day? WEll...today was one of those days and the beginning was not fun. Boring old man talking to us for one and a half hours...he ended half an hour early :D but gosh even though i wasn't nodding to sleep....his voice was boring...i saved the nodding to sleep for bio...which about 2/3 of the class skipped to study for the exam hahaha

if i had studied a bit more i don't think it would have helped cos i was studying the wrong thing...hate when that happens....hope i did ok though :D

well after the exam everything was sweet....except i had the tiredness from a combination of bio and old man talking (actually bio also had an old man talking) but we crashed ben's room for a few hours then took a bus...which was packed to the city and had dinner :D

i noticed the pretty lights on the building and bridge...which change colour :P we didn't walk on the bridge but i guess we'll save that for the day we go on the ferris wheel and city cat....i am really looking forward to that and i think i will need it after the first week...2 exams right after break...great...

logged on facebook and had 42 notices whoa! and i neglected my mafia so i had like 500 energy :P

i had a bento box which was ok but ben and helen had degrees of spiciness for their curry...they were spicy...then fast forward and we were playting pool :D hahah that was good fun but i got bored after about 40 minutes ;p

caught bus home and didn't have to walk through the park :D wooo

camping in 2 days so i shall have to post a super duper long one tomorrow to make up for it

Facebook stalking :D

Well, even though i do have a legitimate reason for letting my posts get shorter...i should make an effort to make a long one :D

Well, the only massive ish thing aside from tests which has been happening is facebook stalking!!

I've increased my online friend count by about 30 people :d and even rejected some people :D

Catching up with people who don't go on msn is so much easier on facebook...AND THERE IS NO PRESSURE TO REPLY :D unless there is the 'please reply'..unlike msn :D

I don't exactly know how facebook stalking works....if you view someone's page....is that facebook stalking i don't think so...how about look at all the comments they have been writing? On another note...does facebook stalking have to last a long time ...like real stalking?

Aside from all the catching up i've been doing...spending lots of time on facebook...not chatting as much as MAFIA WARS, POKER and BEJEWELLED...i guess i fall into this pattern when exams come :D

I've been really lazy...but i'm sure camping at noosa will make me fit again :D i don't think i've lost weight but...you never know haha

my printer has been working pretty hard recently, printing about 350 pages :D how's your printing going? same same?

OH i have also found how distracting tv can be LOL just sat and watched tv for 3 hours on saturday haha.

Been studying more than i have been in a really really long time....i have somewhat forgotten how to study...but i will get by! I have to :D doesn't matter how long it takes! even if it takes 5 years ;p

Ididn't get to buy my toothbrush, shoes and new raspberry lipton ice tea :(

I think this is enough for a day :D

Bus routes

Well I've been fiddling around with bus routes a bit trying to find the most reliable followed by the fastest way to get to uni :D and it is a bit annoying haha

althought i know the bus system a bit better, i.e. what i can and can't catch, i've only managed to shave off about 3 minutes haha oh well :P

A boring day at home

Well today is like one of the first days i've spent at home without going out...not cos they didn't go anywhere but because I think i should study :P

2 tests this week, monday and wednesday...wednesday being about 5x more important :P

Listened to the radio for the first time in ages.....gosh that was bringing me to sleep haha

not sure how to study for the coming exams but i'm doing something which is beteer than nothing :D

The uni theatre has nice chairs :D i think we were supposed to pay but oh well we didn't watch the whole movie ;p

Hung around for a few hours today :D

Got my appointment, 8/04/10 DON'T FORGET that is a thursday :D

Bio today was bearable...with my bears and glow worms :D

good fun today...i need to sleep earlier to enjoy my day more :D

The bio thing was quite good, even if there was no food :P

The guy was interesting talking about blood doping in sports, like ways to increase haemoglobin - NOT steriods :P

got last group member yay!

Walking in the park at night is scary.... *screaaaaamm so dark with long grass and random buildings.... but i got home safely :D

guess what...7 hours of bio today...fun. Prac was alright :P blood :D learnt that i'm gonna be operating on dead human heads interesting,...

might chuck a nother post later when something interesting happens but prob not, til laters

A boring old man

Today I decided to get my 18+ card even though i have a drivers licence :D

AND found the place opens at 9 30 today while every other day it is 8 30 sigh! so i had to walk a bit fast to get to class, got there on time :D not too complicated today which is absolutely awesome

the second half of the lecture was boring....that guy has a monotone voice, not gonna mentions his name because i might be strung up for it ;p

Not much else happened

Figured out method, time to get it written up :D

Talked to auntie veronica, we're going to go to noosa...not for beach but for the bush :D leaving on good friday for a few days - they don't have as many days as me :D

Another Tuesday

Went to look at cars :D lamboughini or however you spell it and bentley and ferarri...cos you know how dentists are loaded yeah? :D

Went to catch the bus...oh the irony... and decided to catch a ferry. The ferry ride- across the river cost over a dollar. THEN WENT LIKE 3K's or mroe down the river for 18 cents woooot

Also speaking of cheap transport, the go card machine was broken and i got a free bus ride home :D

Also went to the art gallery again and there are some really strange things called artwork...not gonna elaborate :P BUT there IS a white room which i think is super cool :D

Might not go out every tuesday anymore...get too tired, bit hard to focus at the lectures..

REALISATION

I realised i haven't blogged yet :D

SOOOO lost in ORAL 1010 boooooooo stupid teeth look the same... i can't tell difference between right and left and sort of top and bottom...yet

fell asleep when i got home...woke up by a phone call then aunty susan coming home...paid ben back for that call... paid him back good :P

not much otherwise aside from my need to study but my inability to fulfill neccessities

Went through it again, just missed the super congestion which is good :D

then we went to manly beach, not the one in nsw but the one in qld, its quite alright :D the tide is insane like when it is high tide it is almost on the road, it covers trees and stuff when it is low tide, it fully recedes

Saw some fish woooot

lots of boats moored there

Quite pretty might be going on a boat something in the coming weeks :D Uni is so fun :P

gotta type up what i edited onto my personal response and print it off

oh btw there is a shop which serves up big meals, costs about 15 ish but it is worth it :D

OMG...soooo boring haha

spent about 40 minutes in the tunnel even though it was supposed to take 10 minutes...was mostly not moving but when we did it didn't exceed 25km/h there and back it averaged about 60 ish maybe bit less...and there was an automated voice telling us that there was congestion...very 2 minutes...WE KNOW! should have turned the radio off but the signs told us to keep them on!

Then went shopping but was too tired to go officeworks after so maybe tomorrow! or day after :P gotta get injection on monday

Saw a shirt i bought for $30 for $17.50 -_- dodgy target more expensive than roger david!

Also saw Shadi and Veronica (from My Kitchen Rules) at a random vegetable place :D i was like oh that's cool :P

VEGETABLES HAVE BECOME EXPENSIVE!

A big stomach ache

for about an hour today i had a stomachache and couldn't concentrate in bio but that's alright because the lecturer just went over that stuff in the extra class today...hope i understand everything :D

Lay down and ben showcased his magic tricks...i attempted some but i'm too rusty :P

AGAIN i missed out on the hep B vaccination, guess it'll have to be monday sigh!

tomorrow gonna drive through the clem 7 and maybe get a new table! i don't really mind there are so many tables here already!

i think i shall study this weekend...to some extent ;p unless someone decides they wanna go out :D

Thought I'd chuck a bit of 7pm project :D

Today was pretty retarded haha
1. had first tutorial, it was alright, seemed like they asked some things we didn't need to know haha

2. art gallery again :D watched the same video clip....10 ish times? maybe 8 haha then walked around in the room of corn!

3. really gay boring bio lecture...omg horribly bad bad bad

4. while walking home from bus stop, birds flew around me :P

5. walked into a corner shop bought ice cream, woman began talking to me in mandarin and she kept saying 'do you want a part time job?' but I heard 'how come you didn't want to be a doctor' :P so she said it in english and I was like ooooo, no thanks!

Gotta finish draft of assignment and work on a glossary for both bio and dent :D

Busy Tuesday!

Woke up a bit late today...got to dental school about 20 mins early...damn 8 am start :P

Got first prac back today wooooot B :D that is between credit and distinction...i think

HAD RAMEN, YUUUM, even though there wasn't enough :D
Eating my roll was challenging but manageable :D...certain bet was made and i shall be looking forward to what i get to watch :D

Went art gallery, walking there was quite nice, the bridge was windy and good!

Inside the first one was nowhere near as exciting as the second one. Prob 2 interesting in the traditional art place, the sculptures, like porcelein things...like it was made of porcelein but it resembled things like shoes or a handbag or something, it was pretty cool, and sculptures with things engraved in it like it was a human face and then it was engraved with deconrations. The second one was the serenity of one of the artworks. It was like a really small temple or structure surrounded by water and it had a pathway leading to it, quite nice.

There was a funny video in there with a guy saying 'i am making art' repeatedly...and moving slowly. Like he'd say it and then move his arm a little :P

Contemporary art museum was better in my opinion...especially the string room :D Basically a lot of string dangling from the ceiling and you go into it and get lost in it...sort of :P spent quite a bit of time in there...despite its stink :D

went to a dark room and watched a movie...which Helen insisted on watching twice...it wasn't THAT interesting :P, the second viewing i apparently scared people away...i don't think i did haha

Went back to uni and had a fun lecture, gosh it was good fun :D

Quite happy today...happy enough to work :D

UQ lakes

As you all know i catch the bus to uni...if you didn't know you now know :D

it stops at the 3 lakes of the university

we walked around it and on the bridge we saw numerous tutles :D There was this woman who was feeding the turtles and she showed me where she was bitten...first though...OMG blood infection haha

Well we skirted around the lakes and then sat at a place where i saw an ibis eat some worms :P

Anyway, found out that i shouldn't get a queensland drivers licence cos i'll lose my nsw one...sigh, so not getting it anymore...gay!

Uni content is a bit confusing but it will get a worse when lots of assignments come in

Its a really nice place, we drove on the side of lots of water and beaches :D

The breeze was refreshing but when i got back in the car, i felt sleepy :D

WENT TO AN AMAZING FISH AND CHIPS SHOP :O

There was also an stretch of road with overarching trees which conjoined in the middle so it covered the road with shade :D

Also I could see rain from where I was, the city was raining and here was sunny

Well i got new old speaker for the laptop they are like 10 years old but new for me :d and they work haha

I also build my wardrobe so now i have a lot of empty space...i spread my belonging in it. It is now my life :D

Toad prac - finished it yesterday, sent ext to bena dn helen...then kinda sorta got busy so i didn't reply...sorry guys!

Tried working out the texting option on the vodafone usb stick...its too complex :P

HAD MANGO ICE CREAM AGAIN :D as part of pancake for afternoon tea, yum

Did my washing and vacuuming and made my bed :P

Went out for dinnner :P said bye bye to aunt who is going back to singapore, that was a good dinner yuuum!

Well gotta finish a prac report, couple questions left :D

had a TAA meeting, basically half pharmacy people and half of mixed health science people :P

Reminded me a bit of cadets :D

Went to 2/3 of chem lectures...and it is pretty ok better than the first one :D

Ran around in the city this morning, will get a qld licence for identification purposes and getting a debit card :D

Well today was pretty fun :D If not a bit tiring

1. Commuting between Dental Hospital and St. Lucia was goooood fun! I introduced Helen, Sonya and Elaine to a game close to my heart...Corners! If you don't know what it is, then we shall play it one day :D

2. sitting on the floor at the food court is not as fun as sitting on nice grass but watching Elaine eat a spicy lunch (doesn't look like she normally eats spicy) was entertaining :D

3. Lab coats. Well since Ben and I forgot our lab coats so we had to go back! So we went back and we got our coats...what a bother! But something did come out of that...in the form of a lock :D An open lock with no key is an interesting thing :D

4. Dinner - DO NOT GO NOODLE BOX...looks ok but after a bit it doesn't taste good. Macca's> Noodle Box...also half the cost :D

Alice In Wonderland

Well today between learning how to brush and floss my teeth and Almost falling asleep in a lecture - about the connections between priodontal disease and cardiovascular disease, I watched Alice in Wonderland...IN 3D. The 3D was nowhere near as good as AVATAR but it was alright.

I didn't realise it til today but I have a bus buddy-Elaine :D

Gotta read ahead or I'll fall behind!

All my own work...and lasagne!

First off, YUMMY DINNER! freshly made lasagne and salad :D

well we had basically 2 and a half hours of all my own work...uni style and guess what? it was also boring! Also taught us about the resources which was alright but yeah...not spectacularly awesome

Hung out on some nice soft grass, that was alright...kinda lost track of time...what i thought was 15 ish minutes was apparently 2 hours.

IKEA

It is so big! went there to look for a wardrobe...since the other shops have so few or such crappy ones. Found a relatively cheap one and it had everything a wardrobe should have.

It was sunny in the morning, light rain later but my clothes and towel dried...but not my socks....dammit hahaha i've got a pair so its alright!

saw a different part of queensland today - called logan, incidentally auntie and uncle's surname is also logan :D ALSO saw a logan tree :D

gonna do a bit of shifting around of furniture to get the wardrobe built but i'm excited! only a study desk left :D

Knowing people who know people also has its benfits, got free stuff from a hot bread shop and got free lunch :D

Was browsing people's blogs...and omg....it uses so much net, everyone chucks pictures or videos up so i stopped after about 3 blogs, found a funny one which had some cool vids!

Time for uni to begin to get serious tomorrow, i ironed my shirts for the occassion :D

Happy Hour

Well the UQDA (university of queensland dental association) has 4 happy hours, where they basically shill out and drink... well a few of us came to it and saw that it looked pretty boring...sitting and drinking... so we decided to walk around the city, it is afterall a friday night. There were quite a few people in the city.

After standing in an open area deciding what to do we went Karaoke. That was fun. Found out Jenny and Jeremy can sing chinese songs well, ESP JEREMY!

had to run for the bus - caught it :D but Helen has my keys, should be fine since i'll be with uncle Mark buying stuff...or studying :D

Washing hands

I know how to wash my hands now! take that all you non science people who are oblivious to the knowledge of this modern art - only been important in recent times.

So we spent a few hours learning hygeine and infection control :D saw saliva dyed red and it looked like blood hahaha and it was surprising where it could end up esp if you don't practise infection control. Also dentists are exposed to lots of bad germs :P

Bio was increasingly boring.....sighhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, i want to get it but it is too boring

gonna leave for happy hour in about an hour....happy hour goes for like 3 hours :D no...or not much alcohol for me... tommorrow i'm too busy to be drunk! prob buying a wardrobe - cos the one i am using atm is being supported by my laptop manual and a novel - a computer table, cos the table i have atm is about big enough for a textbook...and that's it. Also gonna explore Toowong cos someone i know is going there and their mum wants the people i'm staying with to go :P make sense?

So i can't be hung over haha

Gonna try and understand this bio crap this weekend.......

Went EXPLORING

So after the one hour lecture today, Ben and I went exploring, we went to the big sandstone building...which is boring except for level 3...all the other 7 levels had either offices, common rooms...for staff or smelly museums. Level 3 had an ancient history museum where all my knowledge of ancient history came to fruition...not really but its nice to see things in real life.

Also we went to an art museum to become cultured, needless to say i am now cultured. :D

Got a clicker - don't exactly know what it is but i think it helps you in lectures or something...costs 100 dollars to replace.

libraries seem to be the place to be....as there 2 of the libraries we went to were pretty full. Also the engineering building is faaaar too popular, it was packed for our biol 1040 lecture

How was you day?

Today I tried 2 different buses! One to the city and it wasn't packed!!! the other one between the campuses, that one was packed, good thing I got on the first stop :D

At the end of the day - after it had been raining lightly all day it stopped. Then Ben said 'it stopped raining' and I said 'look, BLUE'

About 30 seconds after we left the building....it started pouring...for about 30 seconds, that was amusing :D

ALSO WE WALKED OUT OF A LECTURE but the lecturer said we could :D

and my lab coat is lilac :(

had a 5 hour gap and decided to walk around instead of going home :P

didn't really get lost but we didn't know where we were - this is the city cmapus btw

lots of safety info today...and we have to wear professional clothing :P no casual in the dental clinic
