so today was the first weekend day of week 3 of uni.

yeah its been 3 weeks and usually this would have meant no work has been done but that is not the case.....dentistry is a little more demanding than that

so today i woke up and there was no one at home since uncle Mark and Auntie susan went to drive auntie yingying's brother to get a new second hand car

so since there is no kitchen in use it was a bit difficult but i managed to have breakfast - bread :P

did my washing today

read the next chem prac
read the next couple of things to do for oral 1011

checked my bank account adn realised they are charging me tax...those bumholes :P so i have to go have a chat to them about this soon... when i go woolies :D so probably on thursday morning or something :P

anyway gonna learn some super advanced tooth morphology :D

OH damn i only have half my day down :P

so because the kitchen was out of order we had to eat out today.

as a result we decided to go to a club to eat, a buffet. a courtesy coach came and picked us up then we went in. it didn't open til 6 and we got there are quarter to 6 so we sat down and just waited. when it opened we paid and went to eat :D

who cares about the mains aside from the fact the roast beef was really really good :D

anyway i had a lot of dessert as per usual (and i probably gained 2kg of food and drink :P) i had lots of cakes,, from cheese cakes to banana cake to chocolate cake. had some jelly and some rocky road. the rocky road was sooooo soooo good as was the chocolate cake with some whipped cream or mousse or whatever it was with sooooo delicious i would have gone for seconds if i could walk there...or is it 10ths? :P

so then we waited for auntie lizzie to pick us up and i did a bit of exploring and watched part of teh eels and broncos game and listened to some live music...guess it wasn't HALF my day but i forgot to mention it :P

gotta study this weekend :D

FULLY LOADED

yeah today was fully loaded

i woke up at 6 30 today and went to have breakfast because the kitchen is being renovated so after 6 30 there would be no water or electricity or gas. so i had breakfast at 6 30. obviously i went back to bed and promptly woke at 8 and left the house by 8 18 and caught the 8 20 bus

got to the dent school a bit early but that's alright :D so we did some alginate models today and they are awesome! building up my confidence and i dunno but i feel as though i am wasting the resources :P its kinda like me pouring up crappy models because today i saw a model in the locker room and picked it up and just touched it...it was godlike....soooo smooth and no bubbles and gosh...musted have spent ages on it seriously... but knowing other years they probably just did it in half an hour or something -_-. so anyway today's lesson also involved the destruction of newly contructed models cos ours were lets face it CRAP

so during that lesson at the start, alan was like you guys haven't had a class before thishave you? spoilt. me we're first years give us a break. alan if you wanted a break you should have done pharmacy, that shut me up :P

so anyway we did the models and mine turned out alright i guess learning to work with the stone which is a strong version of plaster

then came lunch. we went to the interstate polling centre and ben voted. went to the myer centre and i bought a pie and ate it along the bread roll and orange, i ate the apple earlier because i was hungry since i had breakfast rather early

sooooo heard about the coming prac being ridiculously hard and me being cynical did not choose to believe...i was 2 minutes late and managed to miss about 3 steps of the procedure which put me off for the rest of the day. i drilled the wrong place which is never good...so that just put me behind for the rest of the lesson.

to make up for that lost time, i'm gonna have to really read up on the book and learn everything i need. also have to watch some video lectures this weekend so i don't fall behind -_-

luckily jeremy reminded me i needed to do the chem lab pre quiz. so i took about half an hour to do a 5 question thing, it wasn't multiple choice by the way.

also brought lab coat and safety glasses home so i could use them in monday's prac....gonna be a jam packed week next week...no more laziness..or at least that is the mentality i need to have in order to stay on top of things, luckily i can easily so playing games or whatever :P

Well i had class at 11am

TAKE THAT 8AM STARTS :P so today i woke up at about 8 30 for breakfast and just stuffed around for a while :P before heading to uni...ended up getting there just in time :D

so today's lecture was alright, both of them, we got a new lecturer i spose...ummm i can't really think of anything that was interesting that happened today aside from ben and helen getting $1 easyways due to my super powers :D

yeah sorry for short post but yesterday's was long, btw happy birthday allen :D

for you nsw readers, this isn't another random stupid thing that i decided to write, although i don't know what it stands for.

It is basically the equivalent of the royal easter show, shhowbags, rides, shows.

so the day started out fine...for me. for i was the only one who wasn't late muhahaha. sonya was next least late and since elaine and ben were gonna be another 20 or so minutes i decided to check out the intertate voting poll place...and guess what i voted! damn i voted for liberal :P its cos the guy had the same name as me hahahaha for house of reps and labour for senate so that cleared it out of the way

so then we came and met up with ben and elaine. went to ekka and despite the large crowd waiting for a bus, we managed to get the next one and got there in about 5 minutes :P

stupid thing happened..i touched my go card but i touched the wrong one and i touched the wrong one again and i touched the right one so i got charged 3 times -_- annoying...

anyway went and got tickets, i only spent about 60 or 70 dollars today :P about half or more was on food :P and when you count that to get in was 18 bucks that is pretty funny eh? :P

so first off we went to get helen's showbags cos she couldn't be there so we got her stuff for her :P we had to choose whether to get it in the beginning or end. at the beginning, we have to carry it all day -or rather ben has to- but at the end it might be sold out. since we didn't know what to do we decided to go at the beginning.

during the buying of the showbags, i came across some interesting stuff, like airbrushing - its soooo cool, its like artistic graffitti that doesn't wash off :P and some random laser light thing that was 150..i was tempted to buy it but realised i'd only use it in sydney :P

bought an awesome book and wanted to buy more but couldn't find which ones i wanted. angus and robertson had a whole bunch of books for 5 bucks omg omg i was regretting i bought the book i bought later cos i had to carry it all day and books are pretty stiff oh well its awesome book :D shall not reveal it here because then you may want to steal it from me :P

anyway that was basically all we did in the showbags place and then we went for lunch. i had a hamburger which took ages to get and elaine was feeling sick so she sat down somewhere far far away in the nether regions of the universe, so we didn't see her for 20 minutes whilst we had lunch :P

we went to see a preview of what was to come tonight and it was awesome, motorbikes, monster truck and utes, but i'll get into it later :P

so after thati got some ice cream and althought it wasn't worth 4 50, it was alright so yeah would have kicked myself if i didn't try it anyway. so we went to a nother section of the show, it was much more crowded but i suppose that was because the day was getting on, even the showbags place was full of people when we revisited it later

so we went to see the places and the only real highlight of the whole thing was the freebies and a good pie i had yes i suppose you remember the hamburger i had for lunch and the ice cream :P

so freebies - govt building a bag and a hat that broke...stupid hat, some pineapple that was sweet and not sour at all - surprising. i also got some more ice cream from an ice cream truck, it was really soft ice cream very flavoursome and covered in buts yuuum , that wasn't free that was 4 bucks

anyway we went to the animal place and saw a horse, yay and walked past some random shows. that was when we decided to go back to the showbags and get ben something, i got something as well just cos the lady was like, you want one too? and i was like yeah i need that inflatable hammer..which smelt funny by the way.

so after that we decided to go to the highest point and see if we could see royal brisbane hospital and the place we're gonna have the dental dinner...unfortunately we could see neither and merely saw the women's hospital, good enough :P

we went to see a sideshow show and that was really really good, the swallowed swords, juggled a live running chain saw, hoola hoops, dislocation, carried a batter with his hipples, put his arm in a fox trap, swallowed a balloon and lots of crazy stuff that made you cringe to watch...

so that was pretty good, we then proceeded to have dinner, bland salty food. eugh

annnnyway - i should have just had another 2 pies :P- we then went to get some seats and for the next 2 hours we watched some horses running around and elaine and i played chinese checkers which i lost but pretended not to by doing something shifty :P

anyway that was pretty boring and my legs felt stiff.

then we watched some horses and people for a but, some knights jousting, not as cool as i thought it'd be but oh well still alright

so then the cars were first, high speed drifting, and formations and close proximity and stuff, good fun to watch but it got a bit boring after a bit :P

the next one was a monster truck drifting and it crushing stuff, that was pretty cool especially when the monster truck flew into the air :P the cars it was crushing...got crushed, it was funny cos they were all white and we all know white cars are the slowest :P

this was proceeded by the best show of the day, by this stage i was feeling tired again cos i walked all day and was sustaining myself with ghost drops, and then chewing gum. so the last show was really really good, gosh motorbikes are cool :P it was freestyle jumping and they did really cool stuff like backflips, no hand landings gosh really awesome :D

then came the fireworks and it went nuts at the end, that was awesome

we caught almost the first train out of there when we were ready and met up with hien, yun and some guy that i don't know the name of :P they went to buy showbags we went to the toilet :P

ummmm caught a bus afterwards...and realised i didn't bring keys :( i didn't realise cos the day was so jam packed all day...so i was working out what to do..

lucky for me aunty susan was still up, waaay past when she normally slept which was good news for me :P

yeah so that was my day...please add anything you thought was important that i left out sonya, ben, elaine and helen :P

flipping polar bears :D

yeah so today i had a polar bear burger and had to cook the meat really well..i spent about 20 minutes flipping polar bear burgers so that i could have a really nutritious breakfast for the test today.

naturally since it took 20 minutes to cook and 10 minutes to eat, i was late...

quite the opposite actually :P today i woke up early because i went to be before midnight, about 11 30 or 11 20 or something :P

so i woke up to the rain and got out of bed half an hour later than i though i would but it still gave me time :D

i wanted to go to the dental school and watch the youtube video on fissure sealants:P so i watched it with my earphones on, at first it was on mute and i thought it was a stupid video, obviously it had sound.

so i watched it and went to calss 10 minutes early whooo all according to plan,i even found time to use $150 on vodafone broadband recharge as it is my only source of internet :P

so i was down to 450mbs and now it is up to about 12700 or something mb's i dunno

so that was that down :D

despite watching the youtube video and watching a demonstration, for some reason i couldn't get the fissure sealant right the first time i did it and i didn't have time to do it a second time but later found out that i in fact did have time as everyone was in the same position but people just disregarded the stop work signal :P

so i put the acid on the cusps where you're not supposed to and also i put too much sealant, i shall take that into account. i also sprayed the acid everywhere accidentally because there is a thing that makes it really hard to squeeze but i managed to shoot it out :P obviously i didn't tell the teachers and people around helped mop up :P since we didn't tell anyone it happened again, meh not MY money ;p

so with the extra sealant, carol drilled away at it and made it better but noted that in my comments as too much sealant, improve etching technique and work faster...i resent 1/3 of them :P

so anyway had lunch and left like 1 minute to go :P they were about to start the exam when i got there....time just flew :P

so i spent 4 minutes and finished the exam, so less than half the time and checked it a few times before handing it in :P

so we did mounting models today, that was pretty fun and i actually learnt new things :D

aside from that not much :P

CHEM

So today i got up at 8 30 having about 8 ish hours of sleep. had breakfasst and left the house, walked super slowly to the bus station and sat there for 5 minutes cos the bus was 6 minutes late :P

walked super slowly to the lecture and found that no one was there...i was 18 minutes early :P talked to jeff for a bit and saw sonya. was surprised jenny wasn't there and not so surprised that elaine wasn't :PP turns out she didn't sleep in :P

so i got a dodgy table in the lecture...it was like super slanted... so what happened was that i tried to prop it up with my hand and then with my bottle. the bottle idea was good...BUT it left with less space to sit on and thopse chairs aren't terribly big to begin with :P. so i shifted the bottle over a bit and that worked for a bit before i let go of it and began writing...it then proceeded to fall down and make me look a bit of a fool :P

so anyway that was probably the most exciting part of the lecture :P

then it was a few hours before the tut. so ben wanted to go sleep so for some reason we followed him to IH :P where i played facebook games :P

went to the tut and that made me remember bio tutes that made me feel totally inadequate...gosh that che isn't hard i am just confused :P

i need to practise and i need to learn chem AHHHH CHEM.

enough melodrama :P so i went home after going to IH and found ben sleeping and that i was disrupting his slumber :P

so i went home and had a bit of slumber myself :P

gotta learn chem and some dent today...got a quiz tomorrow boooo 5%
