Buddha Birth Festival

I'll get to that later.

Today I woke up at the early hours of 6 (sleeping at 1) and got out of bed at 7 30. I did my washing but the mountain trip was cancelled til next week

So i did my washing and it dried :D that is the first time in a bit hahahaha. i actually completely forgot about it and uncle mark helped out but i put it out :D

Had fruit for breakfast for the first time for as long as i can remember. So i played bejewlled and poker for a while. After lunch we went to buddha birthday festival at southbank. That was pretty interesting because i took a lotta pics :D

Only really interesting part was the performances. Gosh so many kids were dancing hahaha and the best part was when the breakdance crew who did some pretty cool stuff :D

i got home nad basically fell asleep for an hour because i had to go out for dinner :P

I slept on the floor cos clothes was on my bed adn woke up with a numb arm but that became better within a few minutes.

So at the farewell dinner for auntie susan's uncle was really good :D

we had like everything:
beef
pork
chicken
quail
lobster
fish

So i am tired but gotta make last minute plans or something so that i won't be lost tomorrow

will sleep early today so i can enjoy myself tomorrow :D

I forgot to blog yesterday! so this will be extra long!

Oh gosh, time to strain my memory back into the depth of yesterday and adding the contents of today.

Yesterday I woke up early but I had forgotten to print out my lecture slides and as a result, turn on the computer and got distracted but I did print the lectures. During the prac we had yesterday, we were allowed to dissect a frog's leg and extract a nerve and then proceeded to zap it with an electrical current to meaure action potential

After doing that prac, we went to get my lipton ice tea and i diligently drank 1.5L in less than an hour. That was delicious. so I carried around a 1.5L bottle for the rest of the hour.

During bio, we saw this pretty painful video about when bones fail and learnt about some things for bones. We then went to the lake and fed the ducks and turtles nad eels and lizards some biscuits. The lizard eats very funny :D the cream from the biscuit got stuck on the side of its mouth ahahahaha that was funny

anyway I got home after about an hour of hanging around and played bejewelled for a while and got a super good high score!

now on to today.....

woke up early yaya and went to the bank only to discover that it opens at 10 so i couldn't transfer money to friend to chip in for present, guess i won't chip in :P

I got to uni early and went to see ash dawg to see my paper. hahahaha gosh i got all my reasoning wrong hahahhahahaha but i got most of the true or falses :P

well i stuffed up drilling today that was no fun..........bleh i passed in any case

i have to learn how to control the drill bit better, i keep destroying my stupid block and making it not flat booo that is so not cool. at least i am fast with PPE now hehehe

the bus ride to UQ was uneventful but you know what? i ate a gaytime and that was ok not the best one i've had but alright

bio was ok not too interesting not too boring. ummmmmm

got home late cos was talking to jenny for a while but auntie susan said its ok!

auntie susan has just finished cooking 2 lasagnes so i can smell them and i will eat it over the next couple of days or weeks or whatever

gotta finish my brio prac report, should take 2 hours :D

Coolies?

Well tomorrow is prac day and also the day which we have to hand in bio and also glee is on :D

got IL2 today, 100% :D and i am beginning to understand what the next assessment task on visual microscopy is going to be about so......gotta dl the asperio scope thing. also look at blue histology and it seems everything else has been put on hold so i think i will spend 1/3 day catching up and then devote time during the week for further catchup :D

forgot to get my lipton ice tea from ben for the second time running...ooops :P and bio looks like it is going to be completed :D

ummmmm whaddelse? going gold coast as you can see from the top and driving up a mountain, both of which require me to get up early :P

ummmm think i shall get back to work......dunno what though, i finished my part! and it flows on from the intro, even if the language is a bit different.... :P

Another IL task

got a test, it was not fun :P it also was not hard :P

dunno.....today also was not too exciting, i woke up and today was a monday timetable because there is a difference between

haven't gotten my lipton ice tea but will get it soooon as in tomorrow after the workshop :D

ummmmmm also went to the extra lesson which was pretty useless it was just looking at the morphology site oh well

1010 was boring today but the tables are prob the best :P

uncle mark and auntie susan asked why i went to bed at 6 30 pm last night, i was tired :P

i did wake up from 10 30 to 1 30 though :P

i wasn't tired today which is a good thing

Oh my phone went off during IL which kinda put me off...boooooooooo

haven't done anything fun in a bit :P gotta think of something to do :D that is not too expensive.

Advent of poker

Well i've been playing some facebook poker and it is fun

now that i've said that i can get on with my day :D

i woke up to the sun and lay in bed for the better part of an hour :P so form 8 to 9

got up and read some of my article before heading off to uni and doing group assignment on a public holiday :D

we got lots of work done! like 5 hours worth :D
yeah that's right it was also pretty effective :P

went home and slept for a good old 4 hours after dinner :D

so not exciting today

gold coast but no shopping

so it goes without saying today wasn't that exciting

well we went to the gold coast, coolumgatta so i went back to nsw again ;p

but before all that. if you recall yesterday's blog my clothes were wet so i had to wake at 8 o clock and hang them until 10 o clock by which time i had to bring them in even though it was sunny becuase it was forecasted to storm :P they weren't completely dry but they are now

back to the gold coast. see it takes half a second to go there in writing but takes about an hour in real life how fast blogging sums up my time in qld :P

went to a fancyish resturant :P and they had the best beer battered chips yuuuuuuuum but it hurt my mouth, like it tore at my oral mucosa boooo not coooool

then we walked along the beach and saw these people walking on the rocks....which is kinda stupid cos they can die and thats not good

so we enjoyed the sea breeze ;p following that we had some coffee....well coffee or hot chocolate :P then i got an interesting text from ben which was actually from helen and then talked to helen, ben and sonya on the phone for an hour...didn't realise uncle makr took a wrong turn and meant we took 2 hours to get home instead of an hour ahahhahaa

gonna analyse an article today and that's it :D

Thomas's day

hi! I'm thomas and this was my day

First i woke up and lay in bed for a long time because the sun so so comfortable in the morning so i got up a bit later than i usually would have, 9 am!

I woke up and had a delicous breakfast of last night's dinner and custard apple and milk yummmy :D

then onwards to washing my clothes! it was sunny so i thought it was safe, when the washing was ready to be hung, it was cloudy, oh well clothes can dry when its cloudy

then it began to sprinkle, that's alright. then it continued sprinkling....hope this stops and it did and it was cloudy....for the rest of the day. as a result i have many damp pieces of clothing

someone came and looked at the kitchen to quote a new one, auntie susan has wanted one for a while and now she's getting it :D

i studiously read my articles and made notes...gosh that is time consuming......... had lunch of bacon and eggs and tomoato and bread :D

sat watching soup while reading for an hour before bringing in damp clothes.

ben texted me informing of a momentous occasion, woolies supplies 1.5L bottles of raspberry lipton ice tea :D
