uni was alright today bit frustrated by prac but oh well

was first one to lecture theatre and thus talked to prof ngo ;p

had pancakes twice today :D

Productive day

After talking to mum yesterday i was keen to be productive today and that's what i did :D I started off with doing my washing so by about 11 i was done but i managed to get about half an hour or so of writing notes done which amounted o finished my notes on the autonomic nervous system. after i was finished with my washing i then proceeded to do my pain notes and finish my edentulism notes. so after that i was finished my notes from last week. I had lunch and felt i deserved a break ebcause i knew than in an hour or so i'd go to aunty lan's place and meet aunty susan there and then go to the hospital to see granduncle.

so i did that because yesterday we didn't see granduncle we just went there and picked aunty susan up. he looked much older and thinner than before. so then i got home and needed to do lots of ironing hahaha! so i did that and then read some notes about cavity preparation and the chapter we were supposed to read. gosh there are 60 pages and i've read 3 pages hahahaha

had some awesome pancake and ice cream for dessert :D

HEHE don't have to post too much today

basically when mum calls me i don't post very much :P

woke up to a crow cawing outside my window but stayed in bed just cos i could. i stayed in bed for a really long time or what felt like a really long time til i couldn't stay in bed and i got up. it was 9 30 hahahah good sleep in :D

so i had breakfast before making a to do list and also watch uncle sing build a computer table for aunty susan. after that we went to the hospital because aunty susan's father had a fall and he was in hospital. there was an entrace which was only open on weekdays hahaha that's strange isn't it? but 2 nurses kindly swiped us in :D after the hospital we went to sunnybank where i had a delicious beef brisket egg noodle soup. gosh best egg noodles ever no wonder they just sell them in a bowl by themselves hahaha.

we did some shopping in woolies before going home. i felt like a rest (instead of playing games) so i slept for about 2 hours from 2 30 to 430 before tackling some more work and then having a shower. had dinner before doing some cutting and pasting :D i love my new notation making hahhaha cut paste lecture material :D it makes it sort of interactive :D anyway i played some starcraft and just as i got off mum called me, the reasoning behind her calling me was because she was watching dad read some document and got bored hahahahaha. we had an hour chat before dad was adamant i had had enough and should get back to study ;p

so here i am blogging! back to finishing my 2062 notes!

my day

i woke up early today but really wanted to go back to bed, it was just that sort of day hahaha anyway i lugged myself out of bed to face the cold dreary day. got on a bus and went to uni. i followed amos around cos i didn't know where to go and he did but there was so much construction going on that we couldn't really go very far at all...so we went around in circles twice and managed to get there on time still...i'm just that early hahaha

anyway the lecture opened really strangely. the lecturer was like 'last lecture you guys were pretty much falling asleep by the end of the lecture, do you think that there was too much information' or something along the lines of that so that was surprising and kept me awake the whole lecture :P the second lecture was a bit boring as was the last one.

no pracs til week 3 and i think it will be good i think the first one is working out the efficacy of drugs using Computer assisted learning. should be fun or at least easy hahahaha

we sat around heath room for about 3 hours in the break playing card games getting food or just lazing around before lecture then we went over to my place for about 40 minutes just chatting eating chips and looking at catalogues. after that we went to ben's place and played another cardgame whilst helen played some starcraft. after that we went to grilled to get some 2 for 1 deal and the burger was gooooood!

i then suggested we get ice cream so we did despite it being over priced ;p i said bye allan because the guy's name was on the screen. knowing someone's name when they don't know yours is sort of a funny power hahahaha

ummmm what else. we watched 20-1 and it was quite good except i don't really agree with them lol the senator one was hilarious though! then i watched the first half hour of bride wars before i left i can watch the last half hour but mehhhhhh\

bus was 10 minutes late but that's alright i've come to expect that now hahaha as long as it come its all good.

BLACKOUT

today i woke up and i spend a good 20 minutes eating breakfast putting me sort of late ;p. i would have been fine if i had managed to catch the bus before the one i actually did which was late by the way gosh! anyway i got to the dental school 1 minute after 8 and lecturer wasn't there but he already came in cos he was logged on ;p

anyway the lecture made me feel better, lots of people can't prepare cavities properly at this early stage and they want us to pass. they will provide intensive training if we don't pass the first go :D:D that's soooo good :D that's not to say i won't try hahahahaha

so we finished after an hour and it was made clear to us that we need to get some textbooks ;p so i think i will look for them online on saturday :D

so i got home at about 11 after going woolies. so happened was after the lecture we hung around dental school for about 15 minutes before going to woolies. apparently my sweat made strange patterns on the back of my shirt hahahaha. so we went woolies and i bought some chips and some yoghurt :D then went to wintergarden and found that the exit was closed...so i had to take the elevator because the way i came was by escalator :P

so then i went to the bus stop and found i needed to wait 20 minutes so i walked around myer centre a bit and got a hash brown from maccas. i literally saw them turn the signage around at 10 30 hahahahha and they wouldn't take orders for the afternoon meal until they did that i found that really quirky. i also enquired about a few prices. a house keyt would cost 10 bucks to cut, an engraving of about 10 letters about 10 bucks and altering pants would cost 20. i think i'll use the slow speed in clinic to do the engraving :P i'm sure i'll get pro enough by then hahhahahaha

ummm pretty uneventful except at about 2 i had a nap til about 3 :D then at about 6 there was a blackout til past 7 about 7 10 or something like that cos i managed to watch some home and away :P

hmmmmmmmmz whatelse. going grilled tomorrow. gotta read lecture notes and read up on lecture i spose so i can get the most out of the lectures :D means i will need some textbooks :D which i will totally get!

A not so good day

so its been 3 days at uni thusfar and today was not a bad day but it wasn't a good day i suppose it was an average day. i think it started off badly because even though a lecture was cancelled so i didn't have to get up at 6 50 there was so much rain like a thunderstorm at about 3 30 and i woke up and stayed up cos i was too lazy to close the window and it was quite loud hahaha

anyway i wasn't feeling 100% not sick but sort of dazed like i didn't know what i was doing. anyway i got to the bus stop on time but the bus didn't come. i was even 2 minutes early! so i waited about 12 minutes for the enxt bus and it was packed... same thing coming home but that's a different story

anyway i was late to pre clinic but i think i snuck in pretty well :D and so i think no one noticed i mean no one told me -you're late but they did to someone else :P hmmm then i failed at cavity prep today :( which wasn't cool but i suppose getting it right is better than just doing it.

anyway then i had lunch and i managed to talk through about half of it and by the end i still had my roll in my hand. so i uickly finished it, a pineapple cake and my pear. i wasn't late to the prac but i bent wire the whole time i actually concentrated really well for the 4th wire and that turned out ok the first time and well the second time :D the third on is a bummer though i left before i fnished it and i plan to make a perfect one on monday :D

we had a OHS lecture and i couldn't help smirking for about half of it because a lot of it alan was trying to take advantage of hahahaha. walsh's lecture was pretty boring because we did most of it before and so it was kinda repetitive i barely took any notes :O

ummmm yeah, we stood around uni and figured out that helen's lock for the locker is dodgy hahahahah

bus back was packed i tried to read mx buut failed. not much else happened today ohhhh well! tomorrow is a short day :D

A good uni day!

so you know what the best uni days are? the short ones ;p

anyway yesterday ben told me to monetise my blog, not qld ben sydney ben. basically he had 500 views and he got 10 bucks from google hahahaha he must have had like 1930123 ads or something :P i can see why people go around to blogs and chuck a message like 'visit me back'

anyway on to my good day :D so it started off at 6 50. i woke up and ben had told me that thang would call at about 7 so while i was getting ready in the morning i was sort of anticipating a call :P anyway i left the house with no such call but i had to walk slightly fast to be on time to meet ben at the bus stop. anyway i got on a bus and talked to lily and amos for a bit before we got to uni. once at the bus stop i gave a quick scan around and didn't see ben. lily on the other hand picked up a student card. and guess whose it was....ben's! hahahahaha so she gave it to me and i in turn gave it to ben.

before that though, i receieved a call from helen 'ben's not picking up his phone! so i called you' hahahaha! i thought it might have been a. ben b. thang. wrong on both counts :P

so anyway i was unable to answer her query and i tried to call ben with the same result. anyway i went to the lecture theatre and lo and behold they were both there :D happy ending!

but that was just the beginning hahahahahaha. so the lecture was on some panoramic radiographs and i feel i did satisfactorarily in other words i didn't fall asleep :P so after that we had a lab induction and it was in the anatomy room so there were preserved body parts etc after the induction we went through the workshop til about 10 15 where we finished and looked around the room. after that we just chatted to the tutor about second year and all its hardships til about 11 35 hahahaha. i then went to find the others who were in a different room. when i did find them we had lunch broke off to do random stuff, played some mafia. i met some of qld jenny's friends hahaha that was funny :P

so then came the last lecture of the day cos the prac was not sceduled yet. it was taken by some lady and it was pharmacy stuff :P

after that, we went outside and stood there for like 20 minutes in the heat omg! anyway i went home made a few calls grabbed a jar and then went to a dental clinic to ask for some extracted teeth or rather for them to store any that they extracted. unfortunately, the ortho clinic didn't do extractions! there goes the good teeth :P

yeah so that was my day. had some fun, day wasn't as difficult as i thought it could be and generally it was alright :D
