Dent 1011 done

wooo easy exam

so i woke to my alarm and sonya's text asking where everyone is :P she had come to the exam 2 hours early hahaha well she did some last minute revision and when i went into the library at about 9 40 ish, she was having a big ol yawn hahahaha

so i went around talking about PGFPIAAFSAP that was hilarious it was like hey do you know PGFPIAAFSAP? everyone was like wth no way what is it. when i told them it was an acronym to remember debridement

the exam was surprisingly easy and short...i should get a credit now :D well i better anyway -_- the room however was not good..it was so cold especially the last half hour when i wasn't doing much writing and just checking. i saw so many people leave early

so anywya after exam i went home after calling helen (whose phone was off) and ben (who didn't pick up) i went home and enjoyed myself for a few hours before learning about acids and bases and gosh what i didn't understand seems so simple now -_-...i just have to get my head around the equations whcih uses 2 temperature for thermodynamics and for rate of reactions hahahaha

tomorrow is all module 4 :D

Past papers 1011

so today i decided to look at past papers and it looks like previous years really focussed on radiography with half the paper being on radiography, its technique both to reduce cancer rate but how to get a good x ray :D

so anyway today i used a lot of interenet....seems when i am at home, i use a lot even when i'm working. i've been on for nearly 13 hours, on and off and it seems that i used about 200 mb's so about 15mb's an hour which seems reasonable. so i've used about a gig this month which i don't think i normally do hahaha.

i blame downloading all those past exams and all the pdfs that i didn't download earlier like halitosis and the perio one as well. oh well hope my 1.5gb will be enough for the next 10 days will need to go to harvey norman and spend like 400 bucks on phone and internet credit hahahaha and get 20% off so about 300 total :D:D

talked to family for about an hour today :d that was good. also allen has finished exams and he crashed my place when i wasn't there :P

yes! i went out of the house today :D

i woke up at like 10 and had cereal and lunch at 11 of bacon and eggs...i am not too sure but i don't think they agreed with each other so i had a really mild stomach ache...more like a stomach discomfort for a couple of hours whilst i got ready to go to the library to dl some video lectures - since i am so stingy on downloads :D. so i looked at the bus timetable and saw that i just missed the bus so i played freecell for almost half an hour and missed the next one hahaha so in the end i left the house about half past 12 and caught the bus and read like 2 weeks ago's mX which i happened to have stored away in my bag.

i went to the library and found a computer and settled down, downloaded the 7 video lectures onto my usb and shall watch it soon...i think hahahahaa hope i do end up watching them :P i know the denture construction one is a bit important.

For study of 1030 i wrote down all the questions and wrote possible questions which they could ask, so it should work :D

I downloaded the 1011 video lectures. while i was reading over 1030 notes, mum called and i got a bit of a shock because i was in the library and all so we had a 1 minute conversation :P at about 3 45 i left the library and went to the city to go to harvey norman. it was so starnge because broadway was open but all the escalators were going down...very strange. and the elecvator wasn't working...i went to the city for no reason boooo :P

it was fun absorbing the atmostphere there though, much more energy there than sitting at home hahaha

so i am nearly finished chem, i just need to work out how to calculate rate constant when i have the activation energy...i know the formula i just don't know how to use it hahaha. and for acids and bases i need to be able to work out the pH based on the pKa or something like that...not 100% sure hahaha

1011, i think i have to do the practise questions and then look at all the wording moreso than the actual concepts, like what does physiological mean? hahaha

1030 i think i will watch the denture construction video lecture again,properly this time and look at the clinical steps and the lab steps to make one. have to learn the muscles of mastication, their insertions and origins.

1050 last and least :P i have to look at the last 4 lectures so pain, ulceration, some diseases and smoking and aging.

we're gonna see harry potter on 18th before i fly out, dreamworld on 17th. so....i still have to go to harvey norman and get cheap voda credit!

i had something else to say but i don't really remember hahaha, it was something i saw while i was on the bus

chem

so today was pretty much all chem questions, mainly i looked at the past questions and i got most of it right:D it just took more than the hour we have for the exam...we have an hour right? :P

mum called and told me to work hahaha

rained today...miserable weather was gonna go uni and read some journal articles and study 1011, shall do that tomorrow instead :D

i think i am almost done with chem study :P

today was not as eventful as yesterday but all the same it was alright

Basically the title says it all, i woke up and did my washing and it dried wooooot this is the second load, so i washed all my winter stuff so i don't have smelly clothes in my cupboard hahahaha

did chem..not much :P watched glee and now to do more chem!

State library

So today was a beautiful sunny day and i regretted not doing my washing but i knew i wouldn't be back in time to take it in and didn't want aunty susan or uncle mark feel obliged to take it in. so i shall do it tomorrow or day after i don't know.

anyway we went to the state library today. today we did all the past papers for 1030, helen did the chem mid sem paper, and we looked at the course overview for 1030. how impressive hey?

in reality there was one past paper and the course overview was the one from the last lecture of 1030 but in any case i feel prepared!

the state library was really nice, aunty susan told me they renovated it 2 years ago and it is woooooow! there was a projector, surround sound speaker and curtains and blinds to close you from the rest of the library, it overlooked the river which was nice at first but it got a bit boring :P

the seats were not ergonomically positioned to do work, rather lie down and watch the projector, maybe it is more for discussion.

introduced helen to starcraft hahahah she is so slow, she probe rushed the computer and killed them that way :D

(very easy 50% handicap)

watched a couple of video lectures, the staff at the edge were awesome and we had music playing for a while, stopped it for video lecture :D

it was a good day, should do it again!

NEW TV

so we got a new tv, on saturday we had gone to look at some and there was a 101cm LCD for under a thousand bucks so aunty susan decided to get it :D

installed and it looks good. might have to get a hdmi cable for it :P got some chem done, 3/4 of the formula sheet is completed meaning i've read about 3/4 of the notes!

hummmmmmm, not much else today, haven't left the house in a number of hours, something like 40 :P
