So today was quite hectic. woke up at 7 30 BUT was too tired to get out of bed so i slept til 8 30. got out of bed and rushedly did my washing in a very rushed succinct manner so i got everything done in one and a half hours, less than that actually, i had breakfast while the machine was going, hung the clothes and burshed teeth etc so as soon as i finished hanging the second load, i could go and that's what i did. caught a bus in a very proffessional manner, by being on time despite the bus being late and scanning my go card in an awesome way :D don't even need to open ym wallet anymore

so the bus was packed which was really unusual for a sunday but they were all heading to the uq open day, as was I. so met ben and helen bout 20 minutes late because i had woken up an hour later :P elaine woke when i was at the bus stop :P so she came at 11 30 she also did a load of washing :P

very nice day for doing the washing, sunny alll day long :D one of my long sleeve clothes weren't not wet because it was scrunched up :P it can dry in my room safely without making it smell like wet dog - i can open my window. last couple of days have been quite warm, i mean i've been sleeping in shorts and t shirt :P

so anyway on to the uni open day.

the first thing we did was try and watch the physics show but since i was 20 minutes later we missed most of it so we didn't watch it cos there was a repeat later :P

we instead went to get fairy floss badges and some environmental bags for free i might add :D also on top of that uq was hosting free rides i mean they were awesome :D like the super mega crazy fly wall where you wear velcro and jump onto velcro and stick to it. i was doing some crazy acrobatics - since it was similar to a jumping castle and managed to hurt my gonads and neck a little, it was alright after about 20 seconds - when i pulled myself off :D

so next was the bungy run where you get pulled back by this bungy rope :P that was hiilariously fun :P run pose get flung back :D all safe :D i mean ihad my glasses on for this one but not the other one. the last ride that we went on that i remeber is the obstacle course. basically a big inflated thing that you try to clear as quick as possible. i burnt myself there :Pdown the slide cos my jacket isnt slippery, oh well

so then we went to the whole point of the event to get information about future careers, we looked a a few things and grabbed a few freebies :P

we then proceeded to make some slime :P - oh before i forget we got balloons, that will become important later - so it was shoving 2 chemicals together and colour and glitter and glowing stuff to make it :D awesome, i put on nitrile gloves :P AND A WHITE LAB COAT WOOOOOT

i was squishing it a lot for the whole day and eventually a hole appeared in the bag so i had to dispose of it :P

we saw the chalk marks on the gournd saying 'free food this way' and we followed it and there was nothing, waste of half an hour, and it was up hill and down hill and up hill and down hill

so we ended up buy sausage sizzles :P i had 2 helen had 2 and ben had 4. i had 2 chocolate bars as well though,m surprisingly i'm not hungry atm :P must have been all the sugar, i was so tired at 3 :P we watched the physics show and play around with torus application, it is quite interesting :D gosh the find a word is so awesome :P

basically torus is sort of like snake 2 where you can go from one screen to the other but the other screen is a mirror image so it plays aruond with your mind a little. so for the find a word, you could get 3 letters on the top right and continue down to the bottom left for the remaing 2 letter for a 5 letter word. the chess was insane...i hated it :P

there was a radio station putting a $1000 prize for the mystery word...and i only found the word AFTER they left which sucked.... so i lost the chance oh well :P

so by the end of the day we were all pretty tired, after looking at a bookshop or secodns shop we sat down and i inhaled helium and talked funny :P helen and ben tried and they failed :P helen sort of succeeded but said one word and couldn't stop laughing so the effect wore out :P

so i got home and tended to my restaurant :D brought in my clothes and had some biscuits :D

ice skating

so we decided to go ice skating yesterday, or rather i got really excited and every thought they'd like to be part of the excitement

so today we went ice skating but it wasn't without event. firstly the time changed from getting there at 2 15 to 3. this was because elaine wanted to go swimming and she was the driver so we decided to meet at 2 10 and then get there at 2 40 that was the first plan. that fell through because elaine's car stalled. she got her car jumpstarted and then it was all good, we got there at 3

It was different to the ones at nsw for one, the ground was wet throughout the whole time..the people supervising get into the fun and organise games :P

goood fun, might go more often :D dunno shall work it out another time

have to also work out what is happening tomorrow. it is UQ open day and there are several events so i'll go check it out

anyway i woke at 9 today and thought it must have been 11 because the day was so nice i assumed the sun was about mideway but it was just a really nice day. i didn't do my washing as i had planned, shall do it tomorrow :P

fixed up the cards a little and almost finished them all, shall post them all on monday or something like that, verrry soon

then i can clear up my table :P and do some work cos atm i am a bludger :P sorry mum :P

oh in ice skating, by the end of the 1.5 hours everyone could skate sort of off from the wall, we're so pro, lets go championships now :D

SO TODAY

this is a sort of carry on from the previous post but on a different day

today is 2 pracs, one for 1030 and one for 1011. rubber dams are sort of interesting but wax is much much more fun :D had a colour perception test and a nut and i guess they called it a manual dexterity test

planning ice skating for tomorrow, have to buy a felt tip pen gotta finish these cards :P

stupid ice skating opens at 2 30 :P

ummm i made a dagger out of wax that was cooool and the stuff that i stuffed up looked cool as a dagger hehehehe, i broke it in my locker already :P

ran to the newsagency to see if they were open, fortunately they were :D and found a nearby woolies

so awesome where i live :D:D:D:D:D:D:D

takes less than half an hour from when i leave to when i am in my lecture :P

if only i could have people over for a party and drive a car and have all my friends here, and family it'd be like sydney but much better :D

OOPs forgot to blog yesterday :P

well yesterday was a fun filled day of enjoyment and festivities which filled everyone to the brim with fulfilment. not really :P i started off with chem but everyone else started off with something less happy, well basically they continued the routine of waking at 6 30 whilst i stayed in bed till 9 30 :P

it was funny because despite me waking so much later, ben called me and told me that i had to in fact leave - this was at 10 30 and i was taking care of my restaurant :P

so by the time i left and got to uni i was about 3 minutes early or something, that was a really really fast trip took me 18 minutes to be on uni grounds by the time i left homes :P

so we did chem and just stayed around UQ for a few hours before going to a pretty interesting lecture at dental school, well the lecturer was interesting and he gave chocolate

then at about 9 watched tv til 1 lol. himym, and big bang theory and buffy vampire slayer...stupid big bang theory went for almost 3 hours :P

yeah so on to today

bleh tired

well today had to wake up at 6 30 again and get out of bed early again blah blah

went to uni and found the lecture theatre and it looks like the uni at bendigo (victoria) called La trobe, it was strange cos i didn't like that lecture theatre but the one at la trobe was better :P must have been the slope :D

so anyway after the lecture which was interesting and boring at the same time :P especially at the end. so after that we had half an hour so we went to chem half an hour early :D we got into the lecture theatre which was later packed (people sitting on the ground) and got to pick out seats :D

the chem lecture was interesting to me, but dead boring to everyone else because they are all so 's rank' :P

so lunch and walking around the uni during market day not getting that many freebies :D i got a balloon and blew it up a lot and it kept threatening to pop. got some light thing and some other stuff that escapes me. anyway back to the balloon. the ballon was green and a freebie from translink. so it was fine, it even made me unable to hold a sausage sizzle for ben thus making him only get one instead of 2 (one for helen as well as a drink) so we were walking to our lunch spot and then ben suddenly said 'lets see it under your jacket' so i tried putting it under ...and it popped :P there were zipper marks all along the balloon and people gave me funny looks, nothing strange there :P

so we had lunch and normal conversations and kicked a couple of people off the table :D

ummmmmmm went to the funny 1050 workshop because we were supposed to be the later group but we managed to go early.......and its better i suppose :P

during the workshop, jenny and i worked really hard for half of it before we were like hmmmmm i don't get these questions and lazily did the rest at a super slow speed.

well we went to the art gallery and sat on the stone corner step thing outside it, that was funny cos i was soo ninja! you better believe it, they could only see my shoe and shoulder :P

went home, felt tired, half slept on the bus which made the bus trip really fast :D

had the lasagne i was supposed to have yesterday aaaaand that's it finished the strawberries :D

gotta do some ;forward reading for chem :D that should be it for today. gonna go ice skating on saturday and uni open day on sunday :D sounds like a plaaaaaaaaaaan

Good day

well there is another aussie way of saying it and it is g'day BUT that doesn't encapsulate the meaning which i wish to convey, it is a mere greeting whereas I had a good day :D

The day didn't start off terribly well I mean how can be when one must wake up at 6 30 and get out of bed by 6 50 and leave the house at 7 15 :P enough with the time, so there was a completely new room and luckily i found it (by following silvia) and the lecture was on the most part pretty good...that was of course before it started to get boring, no offence prof walsh. so we saw lots of piccys and got brief overview of what was going on. it wasn't pretty but it wasn't that gross.

so afterwards, we learnt how to put on a rubber dam, something which we are taught to be of utmost importance but in reality barely used...funny eh? it takes about 2 minutes to do but no one does it :P oh well efficiency is taking over :P

after that, my entire perception of dentistry was somewhat shattered hahaha. well normally dentistry is a super clean sterile environment. well the other prac we had on today was not in a super clean but nonetheless sterile environment and the equipment had max stuf to it and the benches weren't clean, there was almost no water used but hey, it seems like a fun place :P

we used a different drill and thus had to learn a different technique :P

the new lecturers seems serious but i'm sure they're not that bad :P

so after that, i went to the library after watching some of 'the nanny' and 'judge judy' and played some poker, won money :D

so after spending a lot of time doing this, i then proceeded to go to the room where everyone was doing rubber dams. we were gonna watch inception and guess what, that is exactly what we did :D

it is a good movie :D had dinner and movie in myer centre for like 12 50 pretty good eh? of courese i had a milkshake as well :P

so caught bus home and here i am, about an hour after i arrived home trying to get the net to work :P obviously i've been somewhat successful :D

First day of uni

well today was the first day of semester 2 and i can say i am sorely disappointed hahahaha, i thought it'd be fun but by gosh chemistry is so boring rather I NEED TO STUDY TO UNDERSTAND IT ;p

so I had to wake up quite early today in order to go to chemistry when i say early i mean 9 :P don't worry 6 30 tomorrow gosh.... anywho the first lecture was boring despite it having quite a good lecturer i think :P as i commented to ben and helen anyway ;p

so after chemistry - it was 11 we didn't know what to do so we went to toowong which is nearby and bought some junk food and i bought some delicious lipton ice tea which i am yet to open, creme caramel which is a strange texture but nice flavour and only one point, some chips which we duly finished whilst watching hary potter :D

ate alllll my food today :D yay 0 those arnotts biscuits don't count :P

got home at about 6 when i could have been home at 11 30 :D doesn't matter had more fun out of the house :P

so looking after my resturant and learning a bit of chem to catch up with everyone else.....looks like 70% of the lecture theatre has freaking done chem at uni level already....and 20% of people fail..... so.......................gotta pass gotta study :D mum would be so proud :D

anyway only gonna stay awake for another hour or hour and a half and then TRY to sleep....
