All my own work...and lasagne!

First off, YUMMY DINNER! freshly made lasagne and salad :D

well we had basically 2 and a half hours of all my own work...uni style and guess what? it was also boring! Also taught us about the resources which was alright but yeah...not spectacularly awesome

Hung out on some nice soft grass, that was alright...kinda lost track of time...what i thought was 15 ish minutes was apparently 2 hours.

IKEA

It is so big! went there to look for a wardrobe...since the other shops have so few or such crappy ones. Found a relatively cheap one and it had everything a wardrobe should have.

It was sunny in the morning, light rain later but my clothes and towel dried...but not my socks....dammit hahaha i've got a pair so its alright!

saw a different part of queensland today - called logan, incidentally auntie and uncle's surname is also logan :D ALSO saw a logan tree :D

gonna do a bit of shifting around of furniture to get the wardrobe built but i'm excited! only a study desk left :D

Knowing people who know people also has its benfits, got free stuff from a hot bread shop and got free lunch :D

Was browsing people's blogs...and omg....it uses so much net, everyone chucks pictures or videos up so i stopped after about 3 blogs, found a funny one which had some cool vids!

Time for uni to begin to get serious tomorrow, i ironed my shirts for the occassion :D

Happy Hour

Well the UQDA (university of queensland dental association) has 4 happy hours, where they basically shill out and drink... well a few of us came to it and saw that it looked pretty boring...sitting and drinking... so we decided to walk around the city, it is afterall a friday night. There were quite a few people in the city.

After standing in an open area deciding what to do we went Karaoke. That was fun. Found out Jenny and Jeremy can sing chinese songs well, ESP JEREMY!

had to run for the bus - caught it :D but Helen has my keys, should be fine since i'll be with uncle Mark buying stuff...or studying :D

Washing hands

I know how to wash my hands now! take that all you non science people who are oblivious to the knowledge of this modern art - only been important in recent times.

So we spent a few hours learning hygeine and infection control :D saw saliva dyed red and it looked like blood hahaha and it was surprising where it could end up esp if you don't practise infection control. Also dentists are exposed to lots of bad germs :P

Bio was increasingly boring.....sighhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, i want to get it but it is too boring

gonna leave for happy hour in about an hour....happy hour goes for like 3 hours :D no...or not much alcohol for me... tommorrow i'm too busy to be drunk! prob buying a wardrobe - cos the one i am using atm is being supported by my laptop manual and a novel - a computer table, cos the table i have atm is about big enough for a textbook...and that's it. Also gonna explore Toowong cos someone i know is going there and their mum wants the people i'm staying with to go :P make sense?

So i can't be hung over haha

Gonna try and understand this bio crap this weekend.......

Went EXPLORING

So after the one hour lecture today, Ben and I went exploring, we went to the big sandstone building...which is boring except for level 3...all the other 7 levels had either offices, common rooms...for staff or smelly museums. Level 3 had an ancient history museum where all my knowledge of ancient history came to fruition...not really but its nice to see things in real life.

Also we went to an art museum to become cultured, needless to say i am now cultured. :D

Got a clicker - don't exactly know what it is but i think it helps you in lectures or something...costs 100 dollars to replace.

libraries seem to be the place to be....as there 2 of the libraries we went to were pretty full. Also the engineering building is faaaar too popular, it was packed for our biol 1040 lecture

How was you day?

Today I tried 2 different buses! One to the city and it wasn't packed!!! the other one between the campuses, that one was packed, good thing I got on the first stop :D

At the end of the day - after it had been raining lightly all day it stopped. Then Ben said 'it stopped raining' and I said 'look, BLUE'

About 30 seconds after we left the building....it started pouring...for about 30 seconds, that was amusing :D

ALSO WE WALKED OUT OF A LECTURE but the lecturer said we could :D

and my lab coat is lilac :(

had a 5 hour gap and decided to walk around instead of going home :P

didn't really get lost but we didn't know where we were - this is the city cmapus btw

lots of safety info today...and we have to wear professional clothing :P no casual in the dental clinic
